Who’s Your Daddy…..

“We never know the love of the parent until we become parents ourselves.”   - Henry Ward Beecher

The Obama presidency has been a cycle, to say the least. We’re standing at the edge of a decision in November. The decision is not simply a matter of candidate choice; it has nothing to do with party affiliation, or political ideology. The decision has to do with whether or not you see the Obama administration as the pregnancy or the death of America.

That may sound strange, but think about it…..was the Obama Presidency the pregnancy or the death of America. Are we about to witness a birth or a funeral? Since Mother’s America's FuneralBaby America Day is right around the corner, I’ll start with the possibility of Obama’s Presidency representing the pregnancy of America. First of all , any mother will tell you that a first pregnancy is scary, at best. Think about Obama’s Presidency in terms of a cliché teen movie. Young, naïve America gets swept off her feet by the roofie-esque charm of His Barackness, the cool new kid in town. Next thing you know, America’s pregnant, scared out of her mind, and receiving nothing but empty promises and debt from the biggest mistake of her life. Still…..America has never seen herself as weak. In fact, she’s often found the most strength in the moments when others believed she possessed none. As she starts to feel as if she’s being backed into a corner by the self-serving arrogance of His Barackness, she starts to fight back mentally. She’s never backed down from a challenge and motherhood would be the biggest challenge of them all. Slowly but surely America, with the help of some loyal friends, gets up the courage to leave His Barackness and all of his dangerous ideology. There’s a classic standoff between Obama and America’s long lost uncle, the tough as nails old coot known to the locals as Constitution. Just when it seems like Constitution is losing momentum, he receives aide from America’s first love, Chris T. Anity, who shows up at the last minute to kick Barry right in his Obamacles. With a gleam in her eye, America stands up, packs his bags for him, and politely asks Barack Hussein Obama to leave her and the baby alone. In his absence, America is able to give birth to the vision we all see in an Obama-free country.

We had to go through the pain of Obama’s presidency in order to deliver his absence. Mitt Romney may be the doctor who delivers the baby, but WE ARE ALL the parents. This baby will truly be the “rebirth” of a nation. The pain we endured during his administration will be worth it when we hear the innocence of capitalism giggling in its crib. It will be worth it when we see recovery take its first, clumsy steps. Obama represents the mistakes of youth. He represents the regrets we all have in our lives. For many of us, our children did not come into our lives at the most “convenient” of times, but you’d be hard pressed to find one who doesn’t view that arrival as the single greatest moment in their lives. As much as I hate to admit it as a father, this emotion is especially true in the hearts and minds of mothers. There’s a connection between mother and child that just can’t be duplicated. There’s a switch that gets thrown in the mind of a mother during pregnancy. While that life is literally growing inside of her, a mother learns to abandon regret and selfishness. She learns to use the lessons taught by regrettable actions, and turn them into strength she will need to guide her baby’s course. It’s time to admit to the mistakes we have made as a country. It’s time to admit them, regret them, and put them behind us. There’s work to do. It’s time to get out there and earn the respect of our “child.”

Now the alternative. What if we should all start dusting off our funeral clothes?

If Obama should mastermind a second term as President of the United States, it will most certainly be a funeral we are all attending in November. A second Obama term would surely mean the death of such dear old friends as The United States Constitution, Christianity in America, conservatism, borders, democracy, and history. We will all listen, beyond the guilt of our own whimpers, to the eulogies of such notions as “under God” and “right to bear arms.” Our freedom of speech will be silenced forever. Our global strength will be crippled. We will weep for the history he will erase and for the tradition he will ignore. In time, the America that so many have died to defend, will draw its last breath and we will all witness her eulogy in the form of another Obama inauguration.

I’m looking forward to witnessing the birth of a glorious new nation in November. I’m looking forward to watching infant America take her first steps. I’m looking forward to seeing the very best characteristics her mother has to offer as they begin to form in the personality of the precocious child. I’m looking forward to identifying characteristics of her father and working tirelessly to rid her of them. I’m looking forward hearing this child tell her friends…..”I never knew my father. It’s the darndest thing. I have like 311,591,917 parents and another 11,000,000 or so illegal undocumented nannies, and not one of them is my biological father. I heard his past was a little sketchy too, so I think I’m probably better off. My uncle said he was a real idiot.”

Time to dust off the sympathy bellies, and stock up on pickles folks! We got a baby on the way!

As always, thanks for playing.

Oz Never Ate Toto…..

Distraction - [dih-strak-shuhn] noun  1-The act of distracting.  2- The state of being distracted. –That which distracts, divides the attention, or prevents concentration.  - That which entertains, or diverts; amusement, entertainment.

Distraction

His Barackness loves to use the word “distraction.” He blames anything that might make him look less than brilliant on his arch enemy; his battle tested foe…..conservative tactics of distraction. In keeping with what has become an absurdly standard policy of this administration, even that is a lie! Conservatives are not the ones deploying more distractions than answers. Conservatives are not the ones covering up lies with more lies. Even more frustrating is the fact that those on the left seem so willing to accept the lies. They accept the lies and charm of Obama as truth and they do themselves and this country a great disservice in doing so. In the next 188 days, you can expect to see a plethora of distractions but I can assure you that very few of them will be coming from the right side of the political aisle.

If you’re still reading this article, I assume you are capable of enough thought and reason to know that Obama just might be the antichrist. I don’t use that term lightly. I honestly believe His Barackness may have been created out of spare parts found in the dumpster behind Beelzebub’s Workshop. Every word that comes out of the man’s mouth is simply dripping with deceit. We know that the idea of “conservative distraction” is axiomatically false, but most of us render that judgment based solely on the fact that the words passed Obama’s lips. While that is generally an excellent measuring stick, this case deserves a little more investigation. It’s not just the dishonesty that frustrates me. It’s the charismatic nature by which this mind-numbing foolishness is delivered. It’s the preposterous levels of devious planning that has gone into some of the left’s best defenses. It’s the sheer magnitude of people willing to accept liberal ideology rather than think for themselves. That is not to say that all liberals are uneducated fools. I’m pretty sure we share an equal number of idiots when it comes to the dregs of ideology. For every one of Jesse Jackson’s love-children out there demanding free stuff because of their pigmentation, there’s a Westboro Baptist Church lunatic claiming something equally maniacal. Again, not all liberals are stupid. There are many brilliant people out there to whom liberalism is appealing because it requires little to no research. Liberalism is presented in a nice, shiny package that answers the most basic political questions in a vague, carefully crafted manner that is sure to appeal to the widest possible audience. Conservatism however, requires more thought. It requires the reader to look beyond the fairy tale and accept some discomfort. Here’s a few examples.

Osama bin Laden – Ding-dong, that b!+ch is dead! For that, as I have said many times, Obama is to be commended. It’s unfortunate that he couldn’t find enough grace and humility to simply accept our gratitude and move on. Instead, he took the approach that should come as more expectation than surprise at this point. His Barackness went to work before bin Laden’s body even hit the floor to make sure that the world knew he had been in charge. He reminds me of the wide receiver who catches a first down in the fourth quarter of a game he’s losing by four touchdowns and then celebrates for six solid minutes. “Mr. President…..the economy’s in the tank, gas prices suck, companies are closing their doors at an alarming rate…..do you have a plan?” (That’s kind of a generalization of every question that’s been asked of our campaigning commander over the last few months by anyone not blinded by the Light of Barack.) “Well, you know…..I’m not going to dignify your distracting line of questioning with a response. The American people know that I killed bin Laden.” And so it will go from now until November 6th. There will be new and creative ways to keep bin Laden’s name on the tips of every uneducated tongue in the voting public. Obama will have them believing that he himself was part of the mission. By the time we hit the voting stations in November, Obama will have us believe that he pulled the trigger while fighting a shark and Chuck Norris at the same time. There will be no mention of the fact that bin Laden was located and killed using intel gathered during Bush’s presidency. No mention will be made of the fact that the intel was gathered using methods that Obama has denounced. See…..those pesky facts tend to scuff and dent the shiny box of liberalism.

Occupy Wall Street – These morons are promising to make a comeback. I sincerely hope that they do. The very fact that they feel relevant just goes to prove my point. This disorganized group of crybabies promises to be back on the streets, screaming their cause……which is still a vague, general demand wherein the wealth and fruits of another man’s labor are to be handed over to the crowds of participation trophy toting, Apple Store clogging, excrement smearing protesters. They’re a distraction. They’re loud and they’re entertaining but they are a distraction nonetheless. I’m sure all of us, at one point or another,  have thought to ourselves…..”Self, this day would improve dramatically if I could just poop on one cop-car or American Flag” but only these brave souls in the Occupy movement (no pun intended) have summoned such courage.  Obama will do everything he can to associate himself with the premise behind this crowd. Like two tornados colliding to devastate anything in it’s collective path, these camps will form an alliance that is sure to make this one of the most maddening summers in history. Of course, while our focus is locked onto the sheer size of the crowds, no mention will be made of the fact that Obama has received more money from the enemies of the Occupy movement than any of the Presidents this group claims to hate so much. No mention will be made of the fact that record amounts of capital are being stored in anticipation of Obama’s defeat. No mention will be made of the fact that Obama has single-handedly delivered more doubt, angst, and hesitation to a once enviable economy than any tragedy, crisis, or attack every could. Again…..why put those facts out there when “corporate greed is behind every unanswered prayer America has ever prayed” fits so much more nicely into that shiny, liberal box.

War On Women – First of all, this idea that conservatives hate women is ludicrous. We just hate liberal women! We hate liberal women who lie and manipulate facts just as much as we hate Presidents who lie and manipulate the facts. Once again, when the strong winds of truth knock down the thin facade of liberal ideology, it’s easy to see the hypocrisy. I doubt very seriously that you will hear Obama mention the fact that HIS White House pays the female staff members 18% less than the male staff members. I doubt you will hear him make many speeches in which the fact that women have suffered far more under Obama’s horrific economic policies than men have suffered. Hope-and-Change-onomics have been especially tough on women but why bring that truth to light when it is so ugly? Why not bask in the utopian glow of Obama’s created reality instead? Maintain the luster of that shiny, liberal box.

Racism – Race wars ignite Obama’s base. Despite the tenuous nature of the case against George Zimmerman, the left has done nothing to promote the notion of innocent until proven guilty. Instead, we have been subjected to “production errors” which just so happen to cut out key sections of Zimmerman’s 9-1-1 Call and leave us, the dumber-than-a-box-of-hair public, with seeds of racism sprouting in our minds. Instead of the truth, we are presented with manipulative photos to make a 17 year old, trespassing thug look like an angelic child while Zimmerman’s photo makes him look like he just got released from the drunk tank at County Lockup. Instead of quietly allowing the American legal system to perform it’s most basic of functions, we are presented with marches and protests. Apparently all you have to do now is yell the loudest and cops will do whatever you want. You can even get the chief fired if you don’t feel the color of his skin matches the victim closely enough. That’s the reality of the shambles in which the left has left our legal system and our Constitution. Obama will do everything he can to remind us that if he “had a son, he would probably look just like Trayvon Martin.” A clever maneuver aimed at keeping his blindly loyal, racially segregated base fired up and vocal. Well guess what y’all…..if George Zimmerman is white then so is Obama! How about that for some logic? Where’s Obama’s addressing of the fact that under his rule, blacks have enjoyed a 6% higher unemployment rate than the national average? No, no…..falsified numbers and “adjusted” statistics add much more shine to the liberal box than does the truth.

Energy – The left claims victory in the dreams that Obama has laid out before us. Unfortunately, victories are not earned in the planning stages. If that were the case, then the NFL would be handing out about 32 Lombardi Trophies each September. Good job on getting through pre-season guys, here’s your parade. You will hear repeated claims that drilling for oil is way up under Obama and that production is at praise-worthy levels. Technically, part of that statement are actually true but as is so often the case, a few decisive details have been intentionally omitted. For example, yes drilling is up but it’s only because people have found ways to drill around the Obama administration’s restrictions and steadfast refusal to grant new drilling permits. By drilling on private land, oil has begun to flow. Oil that is free from the restrictions of Obama and his beetle loving brethren.  That oil could be flowing through the job producing pipes of Keystone XL but that endeavor was closed down. Oil will continue to be transported via Warren Buffett’s trains. No questions. The left will continue to paint oil and the companies that produce it as evil but no mention will be made of the fact that these same companies have done more for the advancement of green energy technologies than all of Obama’s ill-advised policies combined. No mention will be made of the billions of our dollars wasted on ideological pursuits like Solyndra, A123 Systems, and Ener1. No attention will be given to the shameful combustibility of the blackmail conceived Chevy Volt. The Italian ownership of Chrysler is probably going to be kept from Obama’s speeches as well.

Obama and his minions are going to do everything in their power to make sure you hate Mitt Romney. That’s the nature of a campaign, but when opinions are formed upon a foundation of dishonesty…..well, let’s just say that nothing is more fun than watching those foundations crumble. Get loud people! There’s a reason this buffoon has held more fundraising events than Presidents Nixon through George W. Bush combined, That reason is that he believes money will cover up the stench of his record. It’s like wrapping a turd in a scented fabric softener sheet. It’s still a turd, it just smells slightly less offensive. It in no way improves the effectiveness of the dryer sheet for heaven’s sake! Get loud! Stay loud! Get this fool out of office and then get his foolish Congressional loyalists out of their offices too. It’s time to take that shiny little box of theirs and melt it down so that it can manufactured into something more useful. Playtime is over!

As always, thanks for playing!

Aiding and Abetting…..

”The image is one thing and the human being is another. It’s very hard to live up to an image.”

-Elvis Presley

Elvis

Is that our problem? Did the King (Elvis, not Obama) manage to sum up the entire scope of American politics and maybe even our society there in that simple, lip-curling, quote? Setting aside Elvis’ affinity for Quaalude flavored doughnuts, there actually is some sense in the words above. Especially when compared to the predicament in which we currently find ourselves.

Today, image seems to be everything. Everybody’s a star and nobody’s unique. Everybody’s better than everyone else so no accomplishment is worthy of praise. In fact, a genuine accomplishment is often frowned upon simply because of public opinion. Greed and an overwhelming sense of self-importance have taken over the very fiber of our country. We say that we want better for our children. We say we don’t contribute personally to the creeping kudzu of fabricated warfare, yet abstinence from combat is often not an option. Our brains simply won’t let us accept what we interpret as inferiority. The noblest of men in our country have, at one time or another, fallen prey to the proverbial “I want what he’s got” mentality. Entire industries have been built upon the notion of attaining what can’t currently be afforded. Our government essentially operates under this mentality.

Whatever happened to saving and yearning for something you can’t currently afford? It’s called entitlement and if you are in favor of getting life handed to you for little to no effort, perhaps this would be a good time for you to catch some form of public transportation right on out of this conversation. For those who believe in working your butts off and only going after that which you can currently afford with what is currently yours to give…..please read and share the following examples of desired image being provided to those who have done nothing to earn it.

  • We’ve all heard about the expansion of fraud within the major entitlement programs. Medicare, Medicaid, housing services, food stamps have topped the GAO’s list of waste, fraud and abuse for decades yet they have grown exponentially. In other words, more and more people have figured out that taking something for free is easier than working for it. I’m not saying that no one deserves welfare so put that ridiculous, race-baiting, victim creating nonsense back in your tent and take a little weed-nap, occupier! What I am saying is that the loopholes which allow such abuse are being ignored by those who could close them and exploited by those who gain from them. Our government is hemorrhaging money and all we hear from our leaders President and Congress is “it’s all his fault” or “it’s because {insert manufactured oppressor here} hates the {insert manufactured voting victim here}.”
    • Take a look at the so called Buffett Rule Obama is so excited about. Every time he gets to talk about increasing the tax burden of the “rich” or forcing the wealthyBuffett Rule to pay their “fair share” he gets visibly giddy. We, as a country, are trillions of dollars in debt. The Buffett rule, over the next decade, would bring in an estimated $46.7 billion. Under Obama’s proposals, our debt would increase by $7 TRILLION over that same decade. The Buffet Rule would make up exactly .667142857% of the money Obama plans to spend over the next decade. The men that Obama parades out onto the stage with him when he promotes this ludicrous idea are men who, like Mitt Romney, earn the majority of their income off of capital gains and dividends, not taxable wages. Notice no one is suggesting that those rates be touched. You know who will be affected the most by these new rules? It’s the young pro-athlete who is out there blindly promoting Obama because of a shared skin tone. He’s the one who earns over a million dollars a year in taxable income. It’s the idiotic little actress who uses her fame to promote Obama as the Messiah. Those people are the ones that Obama counts on in November. Those are the people that will promote Obama’s message of “fairness.” Their fame provides all the authority that will be needed to make them credible supporters in Obama’s constant campaign. In a society where disrespectful sound-bytes equal power and credibility, Obama has inserted himself as King.
  • This morning, I heard the delightful tale of another blatant misuse of a once noble idea. Kimball Clark, a 45 year old Boston man who has had a long history of “disagreement” with the police, was once again locked up for selling heroin. His “disagreement” stems from the fact that he believes he should be able to sell heroin while the police maintain that it’s still illegal and punishable by arrest. During the booking process at a Dorchester, MA Police Lockup, Clark was overheard making his one phone call to tell someone to “go get {his} EBT card and go to an ATM to get cash and bail him out.” He used his taxpayer funded EBT card to post bail for drug distribution. Now, I’m sure I will be called a racist for bringing this topic up in such a light but where in the hell does a man’s skin color give him the right to use MY money to bail him out of jail for selling drugs? I don’t care if Kimball Clark was as green as Gumby or as blue as a Smurf, he abused a system whose scope was never intended to cover his illegal activities and inherent lifestyle.
    • EBT Cards began replacing food stamps in the 1990’s. They essentially work like an ATM card only it’s you and me working for the money that goes into the accounts, not the cardholder. Since cash can be obtained from the cards, we are essentially funding whatever the cardholder chooses to do. Drugs, and porn all the way to tithing and baby formula. The intent of the program, like so many before it, was heartfelt. Unfortunately, loopholes are exploited and broadcast long before authorities can close them up.
  • Social Security Disability fraud is rampant yet very little seems to be done about it. In July of last year, Judge David Daugherty of West Virginia stepped down amidst an investigation into the fact that he approved almost every disability claim that came before his court. Eighteen months of Social Security disposition data show Daugherty decided 2,104 disability cases between Sept. 26, 2009, and March 25, 2011. He denied benefits in four cases. That equaled an approval rate of 99.8 percent. Anybody hear about this? No matter what was found in the course of that particular investigation, it points to a much bigger, systemic problem in our culture. It points to the fact that a judge was rumored to be giving out free money and 2,104 people lined up outside his court for their “fair share.”

Entitlement programs do not need to be expanded. They need to be enforced. The government does not need to support those who are simply lining up for a handout. If someone is truly unable to provide for themselves, then I praise God that we live in a country willing to step in and help. That’s what these programs were designed to do. That’s great. What I don’t agree with is this mentality that nothing is out of reach for anyone in this country.

I want to take my family to Hawaii for about ten days next year. Is there a government program I should ask to provide this trip or should I just buckle down and save my money and earn the trip? Remember when attaining the goal was as important as the goal itself? Remember when the struggle and the journey enriched the achievement?

“Fair Share” does not mean “free.” By living in this country you are given the fair share of the freedom due to you, but you are also expected to maintain your fair share of the responsibility. You don’t get the money without putting in the work. You don’t get to waste our precious electoral system by voting for the candidate you feel will give you the most free stuff. You don’t get to discredit the intentions of our Constitution by manipulating it to serve only your personal interests. Don’t expect His Barackness or any of his little handbag Chihuahuas to attack this issue. Don’t expect any politician to attack this issue. Doing so will immediately cost them votes. Besides, I’m not sure we want to know the entire scope of the fraud that has ruined our country’s initiative, motivation, and net worth. The change in this arena will come from a constant and impossible to ignore outcry whenever abuse is suspected. Politicians are afraid of losing the votes of those who benefit from fraud but why are those votes they depend on? Why is more not being done to bring shame onto those who are essentially robbing each and every one of us? Stand up and fight, dammit!

As always, thanks for playing!

Delusions of Incumbency…..

By: J Robert Giles

“Hence that general is skillful in attack whose opponent does not know what to defend; and he is skillful in defense whose opponent does not know what to attack.”   - Sun Tzu

Delusional

Yesterday, I read an article by Jana Neweley on her website. Jana writes from a perspective that is unfortunately quite unique but growing rapidly. In the article titled Note to Republicans: Pay No Attention to That Democrat Behind the Curtain; Jana does a fantastic job of explaining the democrat’s campaign strategy. D-D-D (Deflect Distract Deny)

(Excerpt from Jana’s Article)

In regards to the War on Religious Freedom, this is how it went on the Democrat’s side:

Phase One is DEFLECT = “This has nothing to do with religious freedom or the First Amendment. Republicans don’t want women to be healthy. They want women to suffer. They want women to die.”

Phase Two is DISTRACT = “Have you met Susan?” Introduction of a female college student, who uses birth control, in order to make their argument more convincing. “See, we told you so.”

Phase Three is DENY = Pay no attention to the “Democrat” behind the curtain. The continued denial that states the new HHS mandate has nothing to do with religious freedom. Nothing to do with the First Amendment. But then the Democrats, like Pelosi, go on to make it a national debate by declaring there’s a WAR ON WOMEN and it’s the Republicans who are to blame.

Jana goes on to explain the importance of honesty in defending ourselves against this type of attack. Everybody knows that “the truth will always find its way to the surface eventually.” That’s why it’s a cliché. Not only must we “tell” the truth, but we have to remind each other of what the truth is from time to time. Reality is going to be distorted over the coming months in ways none of us can currently imagine. His Barackness is going to manipulate facts, numbers, emotions, and opinions in his effort to obtain incumbency. It’s up to us to remain focused on the truth. His record will soon leave him unsure of what to defend and what to attack.

The primaries seem to be all but over. Mitt Romney may or may not be the candidate you would have chosen on your own, but he’s most likely going to be the candidate facing off against Obama in November and the narrative has already begun. We must seize that narrative and maintain our ownership until we see Obama driving his brand new Chevy Volt off the White House parapet. It’s time to unite. It’s time to stop arguing about who would be a better candidate. That decision was made yesterday as Santorum dropped out of the race. Gingrich has terrific ideas and an even better passion, but he has no realistic shot at the nomination. Paul’s chances are even less likely, so put your personal differences aside and focus on the mission.

While defeating Barack Obama is certainly at the top of the priority list, I believe it is equally important to deliver a crushing blow to the ideology that has supported his Immaculate Ascension. We must systematically dismantle the very core of Obama’s belief system. The way to do that is to take the fight to them. Nothing is more demoralizing than to be beaten with your own weaponry. For example: Who doesn’t believe that Mark Sanchez will get hurt just before the inevitable Jets – Broncos playoff game next season? Tebow will step in, win the game dramatically…..give a sincere thanks to God, and then move on. Nothing against Peyton Manning but this story pretty much writes itselfSLAP. We must use the weapons His Barackness is giving us. We must use those weapons to kick him and all of his little minions right in their Obamacles!

S.L.A.P. – Stop Laugh Address Proceed

  • · Stop – Don’t react immediately to accusations and lies.
  • · Laugh – Take a moment to enjoy the humor in their fallacies.
  • · Address – Distribute legitimate, easily proven facts; dismiss twisted version of reality quickly, efficiently, and convincingly.
  • · Proceed –Direct the narrative immediately back to Obama’s record and the reality HE has created for this country. No more hope and change. He’s been reading us a children’s bedtime story but the kids fell asleep over three years ago. It’s time to read something a little more mature and nonfictional.

Predict what they’re going to throw at us. We’ve seen plenty of “film” of their “game plan.” Obama’s going to try to increase the level of pessimism in our country. He’ll fan the flames of the opinion that “nobody could do a good job with what’s left of our country so we might as well just leave it alone.” Jobs were lost because of natural disasters in Japan, not ineptitude…..”we’re drilling more than ever”…..”Bush raised the debt too”…..as Dick Morris so eloquently said yesterday in his daily message: By creating an atmosphere of pessimism, Obama “concedes the field of optimism to Romney.” We must seize that advantage and defend it with everything we’ve got. After all, it was optimism that put Obama in office. It was false optimism supported by fairy tales and pixie dust, held up by the efforts of other people, and constructed by outsourced labor, but it was optimism nonetheless. Optimism is the essential element of the American spirit and Obama has consistently ignored it. Optimism is what fuels free market innovation, entrepreneurial ambition, and success. Pessimism is the enemy of such things. Pessimism has never won a presidential election and we simply cannot allow Obama to take back the optimistic platform once he realizes pessimism is getting him nowhere.

He will skillfully insure that racism is manufactured in instances where it simply wasn’t an original motive. His media legions will make sure that those unwilling to look beyond the sound-byte see Obama as the only one capable of ending the sudden outburst of racially motivated hate in this country. Knock that one out of the air, folks! The color of Obama’s skin has absolutely NOTHING to do with his record. There is no “pigmentation” column…..it’s just wins and losses. It’s not a skin color that I’m voting against; it’s the horrendous track record of an appallingly inept President.

His Barackness will release the likes of Jay Carney and Joe Biden, his two most trusted little handbag Chihuahuas, to spread his scent wherever he is personally unavailable. They will appear in front of union supported crowds, trying to convince us all that the mistakes we think he’s made were actually the fault of his predecessor. He will appear in front of throngs of swooning liberal women. (Yes, that image is what the doctor shows you if you’ve had an erection for more than four hours! Cures that problem IMMEDIATELY!) He’ll tell us that voting against him is the same as punching your own mother, sister, wife, or daughter in the face. Again, we must S.L.A.P. this nonsense right in its ugly little face. There is NO War on Women…..that’s a distraction. There is a War on The Constitution and that’s the war to which we must allocate our ‘troops.’

He will continue to try to paint himself as sympathetic yet powerless in our fight against absurdly high gas prices. He and his drones will recite heavily manipulated statistics and figures to imply that these too are somehow the fault of another president. Nope! We’re not buying it, you walking psych study.

He will do his best to convince us that ObamaCare, even if ruled unconstitutional by the one branch with the authority and duty to do so, is exactly what we all need. He will paint the Supreme Court, who was gloriously capable when dismissing claims against his Birth Certificate, as inept and “unelected.” We know they’re “unelected.” They’re appointed by Presidents. They’re appointed to uphold the ideology of the President who appoints them. If the majority was liberal, he’d be praising their efficiency, I assure you.

He will inflate his accomplishments just as he has done with the auto bailout. He claims victories in a process that actually was designed by his predecessor. The parts of the bailout that failed were the parts that Barack Hussein Obama added to the original plan. Bush didn’t agree to sell Chrysler to Italy. Bush didn’t agree to the exclusive creation of union jobs. Bush didn’t suggest government ownership. Tell the truth.

Obama will use his media legions to convince us that he’s winning a race in which we can find no genuine evidence of his advantage. They will tell us that he’s so far ahead we might as well stay home on November 6th. I don’t plan to follow that advice…..do you?

Tell the truth. Tell it often and tell it loudly. Do not be afraid for you have much more support and backing than you can possibly imagine. Do not be swayed by clever wordplay or narcissistic charm. Do not be persuaded by manufactured commonalities and adjusted reality. Tell the truth. Remind yourself of the truth and compare it to what you are being told in the news, or from the mouth of your country’s elected leader President. Let the anger that follows fuel you until you cast your vote.

More Out Of Touch Than Cooties…..

“Getting rid of a delusion makes us wiser than getting hold of a truth.”   - Ludwig Borne

WFTX Tornado

This particular date on the calendar always brings about that special kind of morbid nostalgia in my life. Every year, I’m taken back to a special yet terrifying point in my life. A point that led to a few of the beliefs to which I currently cling. I was just a kid so a lot of the grown-up world was confusing and left up to my own interpretation. Those interpretations were often made through the lenses of youthful innocence.

1979 was a confusing year for a curious six year old kid. What the heck is inflation and why are so many people obsessed with it? It’s all I heard on the TV. I saw the word on the front of those fake newspapers they sold at the checkout lines in the local Albertson’s grocery store. I heard grown-ups complaining about the price of gas and the fact that we seem to be running out of it. Why can’t we get more gas? My parents assumed I was ignoring the stories I heard as they watched the news because I sure as heck ignored their instructions to do my chores on a regular basis. The truth is that I heard all those stories, I just preferred to interpret them on my terms.

I remember Three Mile Island. I couldn’t comprehend the concept of radiation, but I did understand the fact that there had been an accident at a place with  the word “nuclear” in it’s title. To me…..”nuclear” meant “blowing up the world” so I just assumed it was time to make peace with those I had wronged. At dinner that night, I ate my vegetables without being told to do so. Another frequent topic in the news those days was President Carter. The man seemed to invoke facial ticks in my father. Despite my young age, I too believed that Jimmy Carter was a wimp. He used that southern charm to convince people bad was good. He sounded like Huckleberry Hound but in reality, he was just a big old bushel of weakness. The President was supposed to be strong, powerful, and able to defeat all enemies. Everything I knew about kings, leaders, and great military men of history was that they had all performed some kind of heroic deed. My dad was the benchmark as he had just finished flying fighter jets for the Air Force. Heroes were men who had fought wars, won fights, explored uncharted lands, or defeated a determined enemy. Carter was none of those things. When the story of Jimmy Carter and the Swamp Rabbit hit the airwaves, all hope was lost. The man was a wimp.

America needed a leader. They needed a man who would lead, not follow. They needed a man who was slowly but surely starting to make waves on the campaign trail. I got my first taste of what leadership really means on this date in 1979. It was mid-afternoon in Wichita Falls, Texas and my Mom was two and a half hours away in Dallas for a class. My grandparents were coming into town the next day, so my Dad had run up to the bakery at the end of Fairway Boulevard to get some of the Cinnamon Raisin Bread my GrandBob loved so much. My brother and I were watching Popeye and eating a TV dinner when the programming was interrupted.

The sky was black. Not black like it is at night, but black like it would be if someone threw a thick blanket over the sun. There was a certain hue of temporary to the odd colors surrounding our house. A grayish luminescence alerting me to the fact that the calm afternoon I had been enjoying at recess earlier that day was long gone. The trees were bowing to the incoming force and all their leaves were turned over exposing their lighter colored underbellies as if shielding against an attack. As I stood looking out our sliding glass door into the back yard, the landscape was completely unfamiliar. I watched a large bird struggling to fly against the force of the wind. I remember wondering why the bird didn’t land and protect itself……and then BAM…..something big struck the bird and abruptly ended its ill-advised flight. Then it stopped. The debris dropped from the sky and there was an eerie calm in the air. The wind stopped. The hail stopped. The sirens stopped. It seemed like any other day except for the fact that every hair on my arm and neck were standing at rigorous attention. Goosebumps covered my flesh. This was the kind of calm a convicted killer feels in the seconds before the switch is thrown. A tornado was coming.

My little brother Ryan and I had been taught early and often in the Texas School System that preparation saves lives. We had dragged our mattresses into the hallway just as we had been instructed to do. We were under them but staring down the hallway at the TV. Woody Woodpecker had just started but its flickering images provided only a focal point to keep us distracted during the terror. The sounds that followed will never be forgotten. I hugged Ryan tightly as what sounded like a fleet of runaway locomotives hovered over our heads. The electricity went out and Ryan began to cry. He was only 3 at the time and this was one of the few times in his life where he ever shown fear. It was the first time in my life I ever felt like Ryan’s protector. The glass around the house began to shatter and sounds I hope to never hear again began to fill my ears just as Dad came bursting through the front door. He ran immediately into his own bedroom and dragged his own king sized mattress into the hallway. It was then that I noticed the two strangers he had brought with him. Two strangers that needed shelter and were offered such by my father when it would have been just as easy to fly past them and worry only about his own safety. They survived an ordeal that would have most assuredly ended their lives had it not been for the budding Giles family. Dad’s presence and enveloping arms allowed me to cry and panic like the terrified six year old I truly was. All hell officially broke loose in those moments. It wasn’t like it is often portrayed in the movies. There were no distant screams from unfamiliar throats. There were horrific, indescribable sounds. The sounds of brick, metal, glass, and wood being ripped apart by an unstoppable force. It was horrifying.

Then, just as quickly as it started, it ended. The sounds could still be heard, but there was a saddening and yet comforting distance in their tones. The sounds were now being injected into the lives of people in distant, unfamiliar neighborhoods. We slowly emerged from the protection of our mattresses. I half expected to find open sky over my head, but our home was mostly intact. The rest of the town and even some of our direct neighbors didn’t fare so well. But we survived. The leadership came in the following days. By the way, we still have no idea who those strangers were.

Leadership came in the form of the people who weren’t afraid to face the task at hand. The sounds of chainsaws and hammers filled the air for weeks. With no power and the primitive communications systems of the late seventies, clean-up was difficult but hard work triumphed over tragedy as it so often does. Those who waited for someone else to come take care of them got back to normal at a much later date than those who were willing to get in there and get their hands dirty. Those who gathered in cowardly circles and leveled their collective blame against someone else for what nature had delivered missed some terrific life lessons. Until that storm hit, I had been under the delusion that my world was insulated from the horror I saw on the news. Suddenly, my world was the news. I saw the strength of men and women not ideology and charm. I saw the resolve of a community working together, not one suckling at the teat of handouts and unjustified expectations. I saw REAL hope and change on the horizon as our country waved goodbye to one of its weakest leaders and all of the broken promises, failed expectations, and empty facades of accomplishment he left in his wake. I cheered with all the understanding my youth would permit as the rebuilding of Wichita Falls, Texas coincided nicely with the rise of one of our country’s strongest leaders.

Flash forward to today: History truly has a way of repeating itself. I believe our current President is just as weak as Jimmy Carter, but the similarities don’t end there. The lessons I learned in the nightmare of Terrible Tuesday, as it has come to be known in Wichita Falls, reached far beyond the destruction of that powerful storm. Where I had interpreted weakness, Terrible Tuesday delivered examples of strength. Those who sat back and waited for someone else to fix the problems delivered by that storm are the ones who would vote for His Barackness in November. The people who climbed up on their roofs with a hammer and some shingles while waiting for the insurance company to get to them…..those were the ones with a clear vision of reality. Those were the ones with a sense of personal responsibility. Those were the people who realized that it is NOT the job of government to run their lives. Those people had no room for fairy tales…..they lived in reality.

Just this past Friday, while speaking at what the White House is calling the “Forum on Women and The Economy,” Obama stated that after his daughters were born, he and Michelle – both Harvard Law graduates – couldn’t afford the “luxury” of having her stay at home with the children. Just so we’re clear…..Michelle Obama made $316,000 per year in those days. Obama was earning $168,000 from the US Taxpayer. He went on to say that he knew Michelle “felt guilty” when she was at home with the girls because she wasn’t giving enough time to work. She had a heavy “burden” in those days because of the busy travel schedule of His Barackness.

Are you kidding me? Are we supposed to take this nonsense and believe that the life of a Senator and a highly paid University of Chicago Medical School “Executive Director of Just Missed Community and External Affairs” somehow relate to the struggles of a normal family? Barack Hussein Obama is so far out of touch with reality, he reminds me of that bird I watched struggling against the wind as that tornado rolled into Wichita Falls 33 years ago today. He believes the nonsense that flows from his mouth just as much as that bird believed he would outrun the storm if he just flapped his wings hard and fast enough. He ignores the reality that surrounds him and believes his ideological instinct will overpower any opponent’s so called “logic.” In reality, the American people are heaving big old pieces of debris into the wind. Obama has skillfully avoided them thus far, but he has suffered some “structural damage” along the way. He’s bruised, but determined. We tossed the debris of his birth certificate into the air, but it only scratched him. We tossed Solyndra into the spiraling nightmare, but it only grazed his wing. We launched the Fast and Furious case, consistently “adjusted” jobs numbers, and the incineration prone Chevy Volt at him but he navigated his way through their debris trails with only superficial wounds. The Supreme Court may soon deliver a rather crippling blow if they strike down Obama’s legacy, but the big piece of flying debris that will knock His Barackness and his ideology out of the sky forever will be the will of the American people on November 6, 2012.

As always, thanks for playing!

We Want A Divorce…..

By: J Robert Giles

@JRobertGiles

“Accept the challenges so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory.” - General George S. Patton

Mr. President…..we want a divorce. We entered into this union having been terribly misled. Your charm and promises may have swept a few people off their feet in 2008, but Divorce those people have suffered at the hands of your orthodoxy over the last three and a half years and are now firmly standing on more logical ground.

In the midst of divorce proceedings, parents are often asked to say something nice about the other. President Obama has run a nice campaign, I’ll give him that. He oversaw the operation that ended the life of Osama bin Laden…..for that this country will be eternally grateful. When he sang Al Green in front of a crowd, he earned a few cool points. He’s a determined little bugger. Is commenting on the purple-ish hue in someone’s complexion considered “nice?” How about the fact that the graying of his hair has in no way left him looking like a Java Chip Frappuccino?

All kidding aside, there are several other points a judge may consider when hearing the custody arguments in a divorce case. Essentially, that’s the battle in which we find ourselves right now. We are in a battle to win the custody of our country. America is currently splitting it’s time between the lunacy of Barack Hussein Obama and the logic of the people who oppose him. Let’s look at a few of the things a judge would consider if the election was actually handled like a custody hearing.

· What are the wishes of the country and both “parents?”

  • COUNTRY: Would simply like to survive.
  • US: We would like to see our country flourish like it certainly has the ability to do. We believe in our country and we can’t wait to see what miracle it delivers next.
  • OBAMA: America is a liar. That b!+@# has brainwashed them into believing I’m bad.

· Is there a pattern of destructive behavior?

  • COUNTRY: Yes
  • US: Yes
  • OBAMA: I…..I’m so in love with you….(devilish grin and possibly a wink at the judge as he again bursts into Al Green.)

· Where is the safety of the country best represented?

  • COUNTRY: With ANY of the four guys running for President.
  • US: On our side of the aisle.
  • OBAMA: The country doesn’t want safety, they want an electric car and free abortions.

· With whom does the country have a better relationship?

  • COUNTRY: Again, it’s with ANYBODY but Barry.
  • US: Most assuredly with us. We instill moral values, believe in the power of the individual, not the government, and are genuinely proud of the accomplishments of free-market competition. We believe you are what you make yourself, not what the government makes for you.
  • OBAMA: You’re all here to serve me. Separation of powers is an antiquated notion and I’m here to deliver unto you your own opinion. Got it?

· Are the proposed custodial changes reasonable?

  • COUNTRY: Not only are they reasonable, they’re all I’ve prayed for in the last three years.
  • US: Of course they are. They are well planned, proven, and address not only the current needs, but the future needs of the country as well.
  • OBAMA: Does the proposal grant me the authority to wear a crown in public? Then no, it is not reasonable.

· Are there any mental or physical health issues of which the court should be aware?

  • COUNTRY: I believe the current President suffers from Antisocial Personality Disorder as evidenced in a well written, thought provoking article I read last Friday.CrazyBHO
  • US: Yes. I believe the President, as he likes to be called, suffers from bouts of acute narcissistic rage as well as delusional reasoning.
  • OBAMA: Listen, I’m the greatest there’s ever been, okay? I have never done anything that has failed and those who say otherwise are simply waging a war against my….umm….(whispered tone into a still open microphone) somebody let Jay Carney out of his crate and tell him to remind me which one of my characteristics is being oppressed today.

Has Obama displayed a pattern of destructive behavior? While he may not agree that he most certainly has, the evidence favors those who would say ‘yes.’ He most certainly has an inflated sense of self-importance and no one can deny his extreme preoccupation with himself. These facts alone should prove dangerous enough to warrant his “un-election” but a court would want specific examples.

  1. Obsessively forced his unwanted healthcare bill down our throats despite deafening opposition from those he viewed himself as “saving.”
  2. He has inflated the deficit well beyond capacity. A sharp tack to the exterior of our country would literally cause a catastrophic “pop.”
  3. He has appointed an economic advisory team that is nothing short of criminal.
  4. His so called “Green Energy Investments” have taken our money and literally incinerated it in the mobile crematorium he calls the Chevy Volt.
  5. He defends Eric Holder
  6. He has single handedly destroyed our reputation in the Middle East. Where we were once seen as resolute, we are now seen as soft.
  7. He is one of the most divisive, polarizing “leaders” the United States has ever known
    1. Race
    2. Gender
    3. Religion
    4. Social Class
    5. Political affiliation
  8. He actually believes he has the authority to tell the Supreme Court what he “expects of them” and subsequently believes they should act solely upon his wishes with no regard to the wishes of anyone who may oppose him.

Fortunately, we are not in an actual divorce case with President Obama although it may feel like it over the coming months. Obama is going to do everything he can, just like a bitter, jaded, soon-to-be ex-spouse would do in a divorce case. Accusations are going to fly. Hatred will be displayed, and truths will be scrambled so that they appear to be something they are not. Emotions will be kidnapped and held for ransom on his side of the argument. He’ll promise us the world, just like the “Disney-Dad” he’s making himself out to be. We should no longer be surprised by these antics. It’s all he’s done throughout this “marriage.” We must stand firm and remain confident in the fact that the truth is on our side and it ALWAYS surfaces at the most inconvenient of times for those who try to suppress it.

As always, thanks for playing!

Iran, We Ran…..

@JRobertGiles

“Avoid popularity if you would have peace.”  - Abraham Lincoln

His Barackness blessed his loyal subjects with his first press conference of the year yesterday. The fact that all eyes were on the GOP fueled “Super Tuesday” surely had nothing to do with it. More than likely, the quarter of a year delay was due to the inordinate amount of time required to prepare a steaming pile of verbal dung like the one he flung at us during yesterday’s presser. President Obama was peppered with questions of varying origin, and he responded with emotions of varying sincerity. I got the feeling Defiantly Ignorant that the press conference was keeping him from something. It was as if he was a little put-off by the fact that he had to take time out of his exalted day to answer questions from the lowly public. I assume the questions were keeping him from his fair-share of campaigning or golf. When someone had the audacity to question the brilliance behind his “sanction on top of sanction” approach to dealing with Iran, I thought his jaw might un-hinge.

“Iran is feeling the bite of these sanctions in a substantial way” he responded. Really? Are they really feeling the “bite?” Sanctions have been levied against Iran and their unique government for as long as anyone can remember. They’re piling up like parking tickets on an abandoned car. The owner of the car will never pay the tickets, yet the cops keep writing them. Obama rolled out the tired, old rhetoric about the drums of war, and how those warmongers on the right are beating them. Hogwash as usual, sir. It is you on the left who is beating the drums, yet they are not the drums of war. They are the tie-dyed, Birkenstock wearing, patchouli oil dripping, drums of liberalism. You have been trying since your first days in office to extend your liberal version of foreign policy to Iran. They have taken your offerings and made a fool of you and the country for whom you so valiantly campaign. Barack Hussein Obama also dropped a bit of his supreme military knowledge on us when he said “a casual approach to war leads to mistakes.” On this point, we are in agreement but I sincerely doubt that it is for the same reasons. I believe that war should be carefully approached. If handled the right way, there doesn’t have to be a war. Handled Obama’s way, with sanctions and finger wagging, and we will eventually be forced to interrupt one of the many Immaculated Vacations when Iran points a nuclear weapon at Israel.

His Barackness arrogantly explained his ever evolving position on Iran’s continued refusal to back up their claims of innocent nuclear intentions with proof. All we have asked for is proof that Iran is not using it’s nuclear program to develop a weapon. Just let the inspectors inside the facilities to insure that your low-grade uranium has not become highly enriched uranium. Taht’s all we’ve ever asked. They have sworn that they are not interested in weaponry, but they steadfastly refuse to offer any kind of evidenceMahmoudAhmadinejad- whatsoever of this claim. Obama says that his “policy is not containment. His policy is to prevent them from creating a nuclear weapon.” Just how the hell does he plan to do that? Does he plan to sit with Iranian President Badmood Inadinnerjacket down at the local pub to share a few pints and off-color jokes before working things out? Maybe they could exchange some of those sweet Members Only jackets. That’s been tried. Remember back in 2008 when Obama tried to extend his anointed hand to the Iranians and Ahmadinejad? Has any progress whatsoever been made in terms of proving Iran’s nuclear ambitions?

Sanctions do not work. In fact, these sanctions are causing more problems for the United States than simply ignoring them may have done. Iran is not the threat that many seem to believe they are. Iran’s government is a hybrid consisting of equal parts democracy and theocracy but the two have not seen eye to eye since the acceptance of this structure back in 1979. Their weird form of government has earned them very little respect in the heavily Islamic region and therefore does not lend itself to the retaliatory strikes that would surely come from a strike against a country like Afghanistan. Iran is all talk. Their false bravado has been sufficiently exposed, yet they continue to run their mouths. Now, the Supreme Leader is making mention of his intentions, with recent capture of majority control in Iran’s Parliament, to do away with the office of President in their confusing governmental structure. This means that any progress Obama believes he has made in Iran has been made with a man who may not even hold any power when it comes time to implement any deals they might reach. He keeps touting the success of his diplomatic approach but he’s approaching the wrong man!

This ‘wait-and-see’ approach of Obama is a slap in the face to Israel and is most likely being seen as such by Israeli PM Netanyahu. Obama is putting his own political needs ahead of the needs of a historically loyal ally and it’s about to bite him in his arrogant buttocks. Why does he believe sanctions will work? Sanctions are like traffic laws. Yes, they’re in place for a reason but are you more likely to follow them on your own, or when there is a State Trooper behind you? Admit it, as soon as you see that reinforced State Trooper front bumper and light bar in your rearview mirror you sit up a little straighter; you turn the radio down and find it much easier to ignore the incoming texts than when he’s not there, don’t you? Even if you’re not ‘ridin dirty’ as rapper Chamillionaire so eloquently put it, you still shape up, right? Now, imagine you’ve threatened to use your influence to jack up gas prices for not only that particular trooper, but for all troopers….and their families…..and their friends. Not only that, but you’ve ignored repeated requests by the Troopers for proof that you are not working on a weapon capable of annihilating a large portion of State Troopers and their supporters. In that situation, which do you suppose would have more impact…..a sternly worded letter from the American Association of State Troopers or a coordinated show of force? Would you be more likely to respond to a speed limit sign, or a heavily armed police shadow?

Israel has asked us to either show our support with military assistance or to step out of the way when they feel a strike is the only way to save themselves. That’s not beating the drums of war. To suggest such moronic lunacy is just tired, liberal rhetoric designed to give Obama a political edge in this election year nightmare. A nuclear threat is the last thing a weak leader like Obama needs right now. Thisimages will expose him for the political, self-serving monster that he truly is. He is going to have to find a way to convince us that he is not willing to sacrifice Israel to keep gas-prices from climbing even higher. Yes, the Ayatollah would absolutely love to see the United Sates do something stupid that he could finally pounce on and win the support of his Islamic brethren in the region but flexing our military muscle a bit does not have to lead to war. It only has to lead to war if there is a terribly weak leader in office. (Hint, hint….undecided voters!) We’re working on changing that scenario, Mr. President. Can you support us and stop dancing around hoping to get the best of both world’s from this situation? A true leader does what’s right in the face of political backlash. Obama’s ambitions only include Israel when they can benefit His Barackness. His Barackness does not like being put in a political-pickle. (Say it out loud, it’s fun!) This could get very entertaining watching him squirm if we can only get the media to ask the questions. Quit getting distracted with their carefully executed maneuvers like Sandra Fluke and force Obama to the carpet for his ineptitude. If we allow the media to give him room, he’ll figure out a way to make this whole thing look like it was either all his idea, or completely out of his control…..whichever helps his campaign the most.

As always, thanks for playing!

Not All Women Are Flukes…

By: J Robert Giles

@JRobertGiles

“All sympathy not consistent with acknowledged virtue is but disguised selfishness.”   - Samuel Taylor Coleridge

By now you’ve most likely heard the sad tale of Sandra Fluke; the bright eyed, naive young woman attending Georgetown Law School with no clue as to the sexual workings of this big world in which we city-folk all live. Oh wait, that’s a different story. The Sandra Fluke you might have heard of in recent weeks is actually a THIRTY year old women’s rights Not All Women Are Flukes... activist who carefully reviewed the Insurance Policies at Georgetown and then committed her attendance with the sole intention of battling what she sees as an oppressive violation of her rights. You see, Georgetown has the audacity to not provide, via insurance coverage, birth control devices or services to it’s many, many, drunken, frat-partying, sexually active student body. How dare they, right? I’m still having a difficult time wrapping my head (no pun intended) around her whole argument. I made it almost four decades on this earth without ever being handed a free condom. Why is this suddenly a Congressional matter? It wouldn’t have anything to with politics, would it?

The left wants us to believe that the expense of condoms and other forms of birth control is so burdensome to women in colleges across the country that Congress simply had to act before lives were in danger. This is complete nonsense. This is a cleverly executed tactic the left used to make us voice disgust. Rush called her a “slut” and the left has completely lost their minds, but this outrage is so manufactured it’s sickening. Am I seriously expected to believe that the left cares about personal attacks? They make it sound as if this innocent little farm-girl was plopped naked into the center of a campus crawling with predatory men lusting after her milky flesh. That is simply not the case. More than likely, Sandra Fluke is the kind of girl we all remember from college. The girl with the bad haircut and the awkwardly fitting clothing that hung out by the guacamole all night making cool people uncomfortable. She was the one that would storm home alone after watching her more promiscuous friends leave with the guys she secretly “liked.” The left wants us to believe that she’s just a typical college student trying to get by and make ends meet but the fact remains that she’s going to a $70,000 per year law school and a box of 100 Trojan Condoms can be delivered to your home for under $40. You do the math!

Men, when shown a picture of Sandra Fluke have not exactly responded in a way that helps her veiled, “can’t buy condoms fast enough” Congressional description of her life. Most common are responses like “eww, she’s like 30, bro” ….or…. “you mean that girl with the mustache? Ugh, I’d wear two condoms.” My personal response when I first saw her image was “Do they make eye-condoms?” While she may want me to believe that there are thousands of unsheathed erections chasing her around campus each day, I have a tough time believing that this young woman with her stated political aspirations and Hillary-esque pantsuits could possibly need more than $40 worth of birth control each month. To put it as lightly as I’m willing to put it…..no way is she having more than 100 sexual encounters each month! All kidding aside, I do have a few questions I would like to hear Madame Fluke answer at some point.

  1. You know Obama just gave you $40 per paycheck in Payroll Tax Deductions, right? That’s 200 condoms a month. Could you possibly scrape by with that?
  2. Do you feel that your “unique situation” demanded a personal phone call from the President of the United States? Before you answer, please understand that the families of the soldiers killed in Afghanistan as a result of his “apology” last week will only be receiving a form letter with a hastily scribbled signature at the bottom of the page. What makes you so much more worthy of Presidential outreach than the families of those six soldiers or any soldiers for that matter?
  3. Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a “dumb twat.” New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has to put up with more fat-jokes than Free Brownie Day at Lane Bryant. Andrew Breitbart’s death was greeted with absolutely horrendous response from those on your side of the political aisle, yet you feel as though we owe you a special pass, Ms Fluke. Does that seem like the “fairness” your liberal god demands?
  4. Is it true that you and Nancy Pelosi are doing a swimsuit calendar? If yes, is it also true that you are planning to pay people to take them?
  5. Why do you feel, Ms Fluke, that freedom of speech should be applied to the porn industry where “slut” is pretty much the nicest thing a woman gets called, but it should cease to apply to conservative talk show hosts? Again, is that a liberal’s idea of fair?
  6. Do you honestly believe that you are a strong voice for women? Should I teach my daughters to look up to the woman who believes others should fund her carelessness or should I teach them that they are strong enough to say “NO” to the man who can’t at least afford his own rubber? (Seriously, what kind of losers are you dating?! Condoms are $0.75 at the gas station up the street. Send me the quarters you were going to use to wash that aforementioned pantsuit and I’ll send you a few of them! Maybe even one of those glow-in-the-dark ones since I assume your lovemaking does NOT occur with the lights on.)
  7. Have you ever typed the word “slut” into Google? If yes, can you honestly say that a) there’s a huge public outrage over the general use of this word, or b) that you look like ANY of the images that appear?

This whole Fluke-ing issue is just another fabricated distraction that the left is deploying to take our eyes off the prize. They will make this one issue, the contraception mandate, the most important issue in this election. I mean, if we’re so consumed with proving that contraception is not the job of the government and we waste all our time, money, energy, and voice on this issue, how will we point out all the glaring failures in Obama’s performance as President? By giving this Fluke-ing idiot more than fifteen minutes of our attention, we are taking pressure off. We are allowing them to convince the masses that things are improving. We are giving them space to convince the bleating sheep that jobs are overrated and that battery operated cars are the status symbol we all aspire to own. Did anyone notice, amidst all this contraception nonsense, that Chevy announced they are stopping production on the slow selling, fast burning Chevy Volt for “at least five weeks?” Story was cleverly suppressed, huh? Stop playing into their nonsense and keep the focus where it needs to be. Keep the pressure on. If they get upset, assume it’s a ploy. If they try to bait you into conversation, assume their partner is sneaking up behind you. Keep your head on a swivel and your eyes on the prize. The next distraction they roll out might actually be attractive. What will we do then?

As always, thanks for playing.

We’re NOT Stupid…

What's Changed????

Based on the above video, it would appear that His Barackness still has a few things to cross off the old To-Do List. To be fair, he was in the middle of the “Trust Building” phase of his great sales pitch when this video was made. If he were a man and the American people were a woman, this video would be one of his Immaculate Pick-Up Lines. “Hey, if you come home with me, I’ll create 5 million jobs for you. You’re so pretty.”

Things didn’t exactly work in his favor as far as those particular promises went. Barack Obama now finds himself in a position where higher gas prices help him and hurt him at the same time and his little liberal mind is racing in such a way that instantly visible graying can now be seen where the American Crown will eventually sit. (Assuming he gets a few more laws to turn their backs on his ego.) High gas-prices help create a need that the Obama Administration desperately needs in that it causes people to consider alternative means of transportation. This line of thinking goes a long way toward securing forgiveness for the billions of dollars he and Energy Secretary Chu have basically taken from us and then packed into a Chevy Volt full of highly flammable materials. If he can get his media buddies to support him until the Chevy Volt and other battery powered crap-coaches are the only form of transportation America can choose, then he’ll look like a genius. In fact, the Business and Media Institute recently released a study in which they found that the three major networks ran 4 times as many stories in the month leading up to April 24, 2008 than they have in the month leading up to February 20, 2012. The importance of those two dates is that they mark the days when national gas prices hit an average of $3.56 per gallon. The difference is that the earlier one occurred during Bush’s Presidency. The differences are not limited to quantity of reports either. The tone of the reports was remarkably different too.

In 2008, the stories were more personal. They focused on the personal impact high gas prices were having on American People. Businesses were closing, children were starving, and there were tears on the news. In fact, I think I remember seeing a story on MSNBC back in 2008 where one of their anchors had to eat her own cat in order to afford a tank of gas that week. (I may be “mis-remembering” a few details of that story.) Today, the stories have a much more matter-of-fact feel to them. No emotion, just facts.

Making the entire mess more frustrating is the fact that we have a President who seems completely unwilling to bend on the topic,. It shouldn’t surprise us any longer that he remains committed to liberal orthodoxy, but I think we all still hold onto hope that he will one day emerge from a spiritually impactful dream and change his mind on some of his more illogical and dangerous stances. Barack Hussein Obama said on Saturday during his weekly radio and internet address to his adoring public that “We know there’s no silver bullet that will bring down gas prices or reduce our dependence on foreign oil overnight.” Well, okay…that might be true, but in response I might point out that there is an equal if not higher caliber lack of a silver bullet that will increase American interest in flaming battery cars so stop trying to shoot us with it!

While Obama may steadfastly believe his own tired rhetoric about gas prices being the result of Republican based shenanigans, the argument simply fails under the scrutiny of logic. There are plenty of things that could be done TODAY to reduce the fear that is driving up the one expense in which we ALL share the burden of responsibility. Domestic energy producers are scared right now. They’re scared to succeed. Their reward for success has been fiscal punishment under the Obama Administration. In fact. here you go, Mr. President…..I’ll write you a speech that you could use this afternoon to reduce the price at the pump. I only give you this strategy because I know for a fact that your liberal supporters will never allow you to implement it’s inherent genius.

“My fellow Americ…..um…..good afternoon, loyal subjects. I’m here today to bestow upon you more of my brilliance. (Pause for Beatle-esque appreciation)

You know, Michelle and I are regular people just like all of you. When you suffer, you can rest assured that we’re suffering right alongside you. I mean, Michelle had to leave two of her twenty four personal assistants behind when she flew to Aspen for her “fair share” of taxpayer funded skiing recently. (Pause for sympathetic applause) Tough times, y’all. I get it. Here’s what Papa Barry’s going to do for you though.

First of all, I’m committing right here and now to support responsible domestic drilling. Electric cars are a good idea but one that the American people will accept when they’re ready, not when I force them down their throats. I know the brains of my liberal brethren are literally shutting down right now but I’m serious. There are obviously some pretty serious and legitimate environmental concerns to contend with but you know what? The American people don’t want another BP disaster. The American energy companies don’t want the expense that BP just paid and they sure as heck don’t want the knee-jerk reactions of politicians like myself. I know it goes against everything I’ve ever preached, but let’s face it….I have ZERO chance of being re-elected, so who cares, right? I’m ditching the anti-capitalist rhetoric and letting these guys get to work. See, I now realize that it is not the job of the President or Congress to decide when a company in any industry has made enough profit. We live in a country that encourages capitalism and all the benefits of such. In capitalism, success is rewarded with money and shareholders. Greed is punished by collapse and outrage the likes of which regulations can never duplicate. I’m sorry I tried to limit your success.

Listen here Obamanites….here’s what I just found out. You see, when these oil companies make money, they send a lot of it to the government. In fact. aside from taxes, oil money is the US Government’s number two source of revenue. We’re partners and I had no clue. I would apologize for this lack of knowledge but to be fair, Republicans kept it from me. Bush put that information in a file on the Presidential Computer labeled “God Stuff” so I never looked at it. Anyway, when the oil companies make money, it helps all of us. See, they’re not owned by “fat-cats” like I’ve always been led to believe. Oil companies are actually owned by mutual funds, pensions, 401(k)’s and individual shareholders. When they succeed, tension is relieved. These guys need freedom to explore but even more, they need our trust. I stand before you as your fearless and heroic leader. In that capacity, I now decree that all restrictions that limit the exploration of domestic oil sources, natural gas distribution, and the use of natural gas as a means of transportation fuel to be rescinded.

The simple fact is that the US Government is too broad to regulate the energy production of the entire country. That regulation will come from the State level from now on. Now, go to work America. I’m going to step aside and let you do what you do……create, fix, and solve.

In a separate matter, I’m sorry about that whole contraception thing. I guess you could say I’m against drilling of all kinds. Now, I’ll have someone release Jay Carney from his travel crate and he can answer any questions you may have. Good day.”

Gas prices would be twenty cents lower per gallon by the time the last syllable rolled off his forked tongue, I guarantee it. Now, I understand the chances of Obama ever delivering that speech are about as good as the odds of me getting to make the game-saving tackle at the goal line in next year’s Super Bowl, but it sure would help wouldn’t it? Imagine a country in which oil production was free to expand without fear of tax hikes, regulatory restrictions, or veiled acts of extortion. We’re being told that gas-prices are high because Wall Street says it has to be, but that is simply not true. Yes, Wall Street has driven down the price of oil company shares, but that action FOLLOWED the maniacal regulations of the current Campaigner in Chief.

No, the Immaculated One will not read this speech off of Teleprompter-One any time soon, but maybe the guy who replaces him will have the courage to release the reigns of the oil companies in this country. Our ingenuity makes us strong, not our government. Our courage makes us undefeatable, not our government. Right now, we are not trusted as a people. Obama’s government believes itself to be our parents. They view us as dependent. Sadly, there are a large number of people who fit that view, but those people are not the ones who will save America from the mess they have created. Those people will be forced to answer for the sloth. They will be forced to justify the negative returns they have produced with our investment in their lives. Our voice is getting stronger, their fantasies are getting weaker. Our unified front is strengthening while their ideology is pulling them apart at the seams. Stay strong, friends.

As always, thanks for playing!
