Jerk The Wheel….

“We made too many wrong mistakes.”   - Yogi Berra

The driver’s side wheels of our country are racing along the quickly eroding edge of a cliff. It’s time to jerk the wheel to the right before we Sheen ourselves. Many of us have noticed, over the past few weeks, that Obama seems to be probing us. He seems to be poking around at our exposed areas, trying to find points of weakness. The Department of C'Mon Baby Health and Human Services debacle of last week…..the ensuing “compromise” that is almost more insulting than the original mandate….the steaming pile of budget that he hurled at us this morning. Barack Hussein Obama and his Alliance of Failure are doing everything they can to implement as many of their failed ideas as possible before November. This would appear to be a sign that they have at least acknowledged the possibility of defeat in November. In fact, I would go so far as to say that his recent actions clearly confess the fact that Obama is beginning to feel the walls closing in on him.

Don’t be fooled by the confident smirk on his face as he pitches the benefits of this politically charged, gimmick riddled, designed to fail budget. Don’t believe the numbers his supporters like Chief of Staff Jacob Lew spew out at us. No sir. It does NOT require 60 votes to pass a budget, it requires 50 and you should know that if I do! Democrats have enough votes to pass a budget if passing the budget was an actual goal. It is not. Do not be fooled. Do not listen to the forthcoming hogwash about Lew meaning that it takes 60 votes to break a filibuster, and other such nonsense. That is not what he said. This budget, just like so many of the jobs bills proposed recently, are designed to be politically advantageous to the Obama administration in their intended failure. As a safety measure, why don’t we just go ahead and assume that every single carefully scripted word that comes from the mouth of Barack Hussein Obama is designed to give him some sort of vague point of reference in a future speech, ad, or negotiation. “C’Mon guys, you know, I tried to help y’all out back in February but you shot down my budget.” It will be factually true, but carefully void of details that we won’t be able to recall unless we keep the facts readily accessible in our minds. Obama’s manipulations do not make his supporters “stupid” or “weak.” It simply means that he is very good at what he does. We must counter his voice in this election. He’s counting on the ridiculously limited attention span of each and every one of us. That’s each and every one of us individually. That’s how Obama and the left see their roles in American Politics. They see themselves as ambassadors of individual citizens instead of guardians of the country. They see the buildings in which their offices are held as their own instead of graciously donated space. Their policies and decisions help the vocal few while destroying the integrity of the United States, domestically and globally.

Obama’s attempts will be relentless. The contraception mandate and this debt raising, job destroying budget he coiled onto the carpet of the voting public this morning are just the beginning. Every action between now and November 6, 2012 is designed to ignite a future passion in his loyal armies. We can extinguish that passion but it will require the relentless effort of each and every one of us. Our counter-measures must be immediate and devastating. Yes, the election is important. Not only the Presidential Election but the 2014 Congressional Elections as well. Those are important, but their importance pales in comparison to the unified front we must present in response to Obama’s2012 Budget onslaught of deceit. No matter who we nominate, if elected, will be an improvement over Obama. I don’t think anyone will sincerely oppose that statement. Yes, I believe Gingrich would wipe the floor with Obama in a debate and I would love to see it, but more than that, I would love to see how many people I can get to vote (R) in this election who voted (INCORRECT) in the last one. He dares to propose a budget that includes $800 million dollars of our money going to help “Arab countries rocked by revolution.” Hey, Barry: You could instead send roughly $2.57 to every single American to aid us in recovering from your presidency. You could put that money back in the Solyndra, A123 Systems, Ener1, Loan Debacle Pile. Stop sending our money to people who don’t want, appreciate, or deserve it. Leave it at home where it can help the people you were elected to lead and protect. Get your responses out there immediately and don’t stop screaming them until this man calls in sick on election day. Scream it! Jerk the wheel!

Confront every form of leftist thought that has managed to invade your life. Indoctrination has begun and it won’t take you long to look around your family and admit evidence of such. Jerk the wheel back to the right. Has it been a while since you attended Church? Get in there and get your head right. Do you feel yourself getting increasingly disgusted with what’s considered acceptable TV? Stop watching. Jerk the wheel to the right. Our unified voice is growing and we simply cannot afford to have it silenced. We must take advantage of their weaknesses just as they are trying to do with our own. They throw a “Bush’s fault” at us and we waste time defending history instead of watching them sneak another failure past us. Jerk the wheel to the right. So much of what is thought in this country is sadly based upon what’s “popular” or “trending.” We gripe about this fact all the time. We cry out to the heavens for answers and explanations as to the celebrity and fortune of all Kardashians, yet we have done nothing to take advantage of the exposed weakness therein. Thought is driven by what’s popular, so change what’s popular. Stand firm in your convictions and don’t run from those who disagree. Without the power of popular thought, Obama’s record destroys him. There are others Take Back America who believe as you do. There are others who believe as you do within earshot of whatever argument you may face. Just because the left has managed to be louder doesn’t mean they win. Obama declares his own opinion to be more relevant than that of the Church; take his blasphemous ass to task. (Sorry, Mom & Dad. It enrages me and I will happily accept your guidance back to sanity later!) Whatever or whoever Obama attacks, support them. Whoever he supports, tear them down. Whenever his argument lacks truth, expose the lie. When he attempts to erase his mistakes with more of our money, explain to those who support such nonsense that they are actually being robbed by the man promising them their “fair share” of free stuff. Keep explaining until you see that light in their eyes register the fact that they have “switched sides” and then send them out to do the same to another misguided soul.

How are we going to defeat the carefully scripted, well funded, political machine that is the Obama Administration? Together. That’s how. We will stand together and we will inspire those who only “want” to believe in Obama’s promises that he can’t possibly deliver on them. We will cut him off at his sneaky little passes. When he claims that we voted down his budget, we will remember the facts surrounding that decision. He’s calling us all “stupid” by assuming that we won’t be able to recall such information by the time he manipulates the facts in an ad or speech. He’s assuming that we’re all too “easily distracted” or just flat-out “weak” to recognize his plots against us. Not only will we remember the facts but we will begin reciting them immediately, relentlessly, and so loudly that they are impossible to ignore. Obama will then flip-flop and “accommodate” us because it’s what’s popular. It will eventually become apparent to those not blindly loyal to a skin color or party that Obama stands for nothing but that which will benefit him and him alone. Men like that are always left exposed, begging, and grasping at power they never really had. Don’t get caught looking at the designed distractions…..stay on point. Ignore conspiracy and focus on truth. There is enough of it to insure his defeat if we stand united, unbreakable, and undeniably resolute. We the people.

As always, thanks for playing,

“Growth begins when we begin to accept our own weakness.”  - Jean Vanier

Can someone please explain to me why the liberals get to cry as if we’ve just kicked them in their Obamacles whenever we dare to mention God, The Ten Commandments, morality, scripture, verse, or hymn in public but they are then allowed to turn around and dictate morality to the Catholic Church? I am not a Catholic. I am a Christian, but I am not a Catholic. While I find Obama’s assertion that the mandate is “good for poor women” absurd, I have more of a problem with what the ruling represents.

Religion is not real popular among socialists. Religion is loyalty in something bigger than government. That is why Nancy Pelosi looks like a Pomeranian on meth every time she ObamaReligion attempts to defend her past claims of being a “devout Catholic” while maintaining loyalty to the liberal agenda.  Obama and Sebelius have officially made it impossible to do both. While the Catholic Church has maintained a consistent stance on birth control, Obama can’t seem to form a solid definition of “life.” This mandate, while getting a lot of attention and debate in the media is indicative of a much bigger Pelosi problem.

Whether you are religious or not is your own decision. Personally, God has played an enormous role in my life and I pray each day that He plays an even bigger role in my future. I know for a fact that many of the people reading these words feel the same way, but even if you’re not an overly religious person, you have to draw ire from the fact that this mandate is yet another attempt by Barack Hussein Obama and other ACLUeless types to poke holes in the freedoms that helped to create this great country. While the Department of Health and Human Services ruling would not require priests to hand out condoms at Church as some seem to believe, it would require Catholic charities, hospitals, and other organizations who employ large numbers of non-Catholics to provide contraceptives and abortifacients via the invasive scope of ObamaCare. Remember when we lived in a world where the word “abortifacients” rarely surfaced in everyday conversation?

We cannot give in on this, nor can we give in on the next attempt, or the next…. If the government is given more power than the Church, even in an argument for which you personally have no ardent opinions, socialism is assured. Obama cannot be given the freedom to dictate policy to the Church, in any fashion. Obama’s vision requires total government control and religion is a major opposition to this ideology. By giving His Barackness even the slightest permission on these grounds, we have given him control over our morals. He’s shown evidence of such arrogance in his ridiculously self-centered, Prayer Breakfast gaffe in which he insinuated that Jesus Christ would approve of his tax plan. I personally believe lightning should have struck him in the face as soon as he opened with his abhorrently condescending remarks about his “Christian faith” but alas, he Follow was allowed to finish. We cannot give him this win. This mandate represents an invasion. It’s an invasion of our freedoms. As Rick Santorum said in his speech before CPAC this morning, “It’s not about contraception. It’s about economic freedom. It’s about religious freedom. It is government controlling your life and it’s got to stop!” (Dear Howard Dean, THAT would have been the appropriate time for your high-pitched battle cry.)

Those of us who enjoy sex don’t necessarily do so as part of a religious belief. We do so because we’re human and no amount of Church policy is going to change that. We know it’s a sin, but we also know that Christ died on the cross to forgive those sins. We use birth control whether the church tells us to or not. Again, that fact is not going to change any more than people stopped drinking during prohibition. This mandate is no more about such causes than the Senator Obama Championed Senate Bill 511 was about proving John McCain’s citizenship. These types of moves are “testing” or “probing” maneuvers. Just like the many jobs bills he’s sent to Congress knowing they would fail. He didn’t want the bills to pass nearly as much as he wanted to force Republicans to vote them down. He can then use that information in a future campaign ad claiming that he would have saved us already if mean old Republicans didn’t keep shooting down all his good ideas. Allowed to stand, this ruling moves us one step closer to socialism. Allowed to stand, this ruling moves us one step closer to The Holy Bible as seen through the All-Powerful Eyes of Your United States Government. ObamaCare does not care for “the poor” or “provide access” as the left likes to tout. What it does is promote an ideology that the liberal view of birth control is more important than the view of a religious organization. I don’t necessarily agree with all the views of the Catholic Church, but I’ll fight to the death for their right to honor them over the political ideology of a controversial bill.

Faith is a belief in something that cannot be seen. Unfortunately, Barack Hussein Obama can be seen. He can be seen bulldozing any belief that contradicts his liberal orthodoxy. This is causing some organizations, communities, and longtime party-line voters to take notice. His brazen disregard for individual thought is starting to infringe upon freedoms granted by issues that transcend politics or government. I’m not real sure Obama believes such issues exist. He can make all the politically motivated “adjustments” he wants, but the fact is that this contraception mandate is just another failed attempt to indoctrinate a nation viewed as weak and controllable. Moreover, Shattered it’s an attempt to indoctrinate a nation viewed as being in need of this type of control. Put it into this perspective if your mind can possibly absorb it – Vice President Biden was the voice of reason in this “accommodation” as the White House is insisting we call it. Does that tell you anything? Joe Biden, who is normally kept in a day-care facility in the basement of the White House, was among many other democratic leaders urging Obama to make this concession. (Yes, Barackula, it was a “concession” no matter what you order the media to call it.) The concession now orders that insurance companies, not the employers, provide the contraceptive care. Great, they arrive in a different box, but religious institutions, charities, and universities are still required to provide the coverage which in turn provides things that go against their beliefs. It’s a carefully worded, veiled, vote saving maneuver that in effect changes nothing. This man is swine and he must go.

Stand up. Get mad. Whether you’re religious or not, if we keep giving Obama and all those on the left who think as he does the permission to chip away at our freedoms, we can’t complain when our country is run under the rule of their thumbs. Shout out ObamaShattered against the biting sting of media onslaught. One of the men left in the GOP race will be charged with the task of defeating Obama in November, but it is the duty of each and every one of us to keep the fire of this week going. Remember that he claimed Jesus Christ’s endorsement. Remember that his mind and his decisions belong to liberal ideology exclusively, to the point where his own Vice President has had to fight tooth and nail to get him to reverse a re-election destroying stance. Can you imagine that level of lunacy? We will elect a President in November, but it is the duty and responsibility of every American to keep him accountable, each and every day. It is our job to educate those blindly loyal to a party that has lost it’s way. It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to stand up and stare down the destructive support our once trusted media has given to ideology over morality. Fight! Fight for the freedoms you hold dear and fight for the freedoms your neighbors hold dear. When you encounter someone who believes government knows better than individual, educate them. When you encounter someone who claims Obama has made rational decisions, silence them. When they try to sneak past our defenses, punish them. Our country is falling apart at the seams and we must repair it ourselves. A president is only as good as the morale of his country will permit. Get a President in office who’s on our side for a change, takeover the senate and force them to act according to the Constitutional intent set forth at the Philadelphia Constitutional Convention of 1786. Dammit I want to tackle something!!! (Insert Braveheart scene here.)

They’re Counting On the Sheep…..

By: J Robert Giles

“I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep, I’m afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.”

- Alexander the Great

As so many of my ideas seem to arrive in my head, so did the launching point for today’s article whilst sitting in Church yesterday. (As did the idea to toss a “whilst” at you from the opening line of said article!) Anyway, during the very well received sermon yesterday morning, Isaiah 53:6 was read……”We all, like sheep, have gone astray. Each of us has turned to his own way.” While I’m sure there have been many more clever ways of expressing the same sentiments over the years, surely none have carried more weight. They're Counting On The Sheep Their impact comes from the truth they carry. We have lost our way, but not just spiritually. Oh no, my friends…..we have a long way to go before we even reach the starting point of a spiritual journey. I’m talking about all the other paths we have chosen to follow as a country. We’re sheep. I know it’s a tired, played out analogy that radio hosts like to throw around amidst annoying sound effects and shameless plugs, but it doesn’t make it any less accurate. We are sheep. Each and every one of us.

Sheep are dumb. Sheep are happily oblivious to the fact that they are being led to slaughter. They are only concerned with following. They willingly walk to their deaths for the sake of being “part of the crowd.” Do we not do the same thing? Again I ask you, if we are not mindless sheep following the ideas and say-so of someone else, then how do you explain Ugg Boots? How do you explain theMischa Burton UGGs UGG Boots popularity of Chihuahuas? Someone popular did it, so we must also do it. It’s ingrained in us at an early age and sadly, it gets worse the older you get. Sheep are defenseless. Have you ever seen a sheep taking charge and leading the herd? They move as an amorphous blob, with no identifiable leader or direction among them. They are completely dependent upon outside influence. Again, if someone can draw a legitimate difference between the behavior of a herd of sheep and the majority of the US Population then I will gladly hear it. I’m betting anyone with enough intelligence to articulate such a thought also has enough wits to know one would be inaccurate. We follow. No matter how strong a person believes themselves to be, they are following something. There is someone ahead of you that keeps you moving in one direction. You don’t have to admit out loud, we all know it’s true. The rich follow the expense. The beautiful follow the attention. The weak follow the loud. The strong follow the challenge. We all follow something, even if that something is leading us to the slaughter. Sheep are filthy. Dogs clean themselves; birds have bird baths: cats even have the luxury of plopping down in the most inopportune spot and doing that weird, stretchy leg, butt to ankle in one swipe of the tongue thing. (Seriously, it’s creepy!) Have you ever seen a sheep bathing itself? No! Can you imagine wearing a thick, wool suit into the pool? A sheep’s hygiene really has nothing to do with this analogy, I just wanted to put that cat image in your heads. Sorry.

We’ve all been led astray. Those who deny such a claim have been led astray by their own arrogance. There is only one Shepherd’s Call to which our ears should be tuned, but unfortunately that’s just not the way He designed His flock. While living our lives, and running our country, and our homes according to the Word of God would be a terrific American Spirit way of doing things, it’s simply not possible from where we stand today. There are myriad common sense changes we must make just to clear the path to the starting line of a collective spiritual journey, but that’s not to say we don’t get out the machetes and start the revolution. That’s the general feeling I get as we open this new year. Americans are sick of the “doom and gloom” mentality. The world is not going to end this year and we’re sick of being told to prepare as if it is. The United States of America is not too far gone and the people who make up this great country are getting a good old fashioned revolutionary feeling in their bones. It has nothing to do with the horrendous political landscape before us but more to do with the overall attitudes being shoved down our throats. There seems to be a general feeling of community as we look at the months ahead. There seems to be a sense of hope and encouragement no politician could possibly deliver. This is the kind of determined will that only the people of the United States can deliver to the world. It was not a politician that brought about the industrialization of the world. The presidents overseeing the information age have had about as much to do with it as I had to do with the Miracle on Ice. The American spirit brought about the significant ages of our country and the same will hold true in our very near future. We have to take that first step. Unelecting (that’s copyrighted, by the way) our current President will be a good start, but even more important is who succeeds him. Will it be another politician stubbornly loyal to the views of his party or will it finally be another “step back and let America do what America does best” type of leader. (Yes, any kind of ‘leader’ would be an improvement!) The changes we want can only be delivered by us, and I think people are finally starting to wake up to that fact. We need to make some common sense changes, but we are the ones who will make them.

CEO salaries when compared to the average employee are running at a ratio of 320:1. depending on which source you believe. Some list it as high as 475:1 but with theJack convoluted mess we have allowed to fester in terms of pay structures and stock options and incentives…….okay, I get it! Some changes are needed but to demand a ratio of 1:1 is even more absurd. Everyone in this country is not equal.  Everyone in this country could be given the chance to contribute equally to a common goal, but such a dream is centuries away from the world we’ve built around ourselves. Common sense will tell us that CEO’s are taking advantage, in some cases, but not all of them. Do I believe that the guy smoking pot out behind the Jack In The Box up the street from my house deserves to make the same salary as the genius behind all those commercials? NO!! I do not! Changes are needed but they will not be the over-inflated, skewed changes depicted in carefully written political speeches.

Westboro-Baptist-Whackos Morality waved bye-bye to the United States about the time Paris Hilton was given a primetime TV show. Kids in California are being read stories by an active pornstar and driven to same sex wedding ceremonies during school hours because both have been deemed “teachable moments.” You know what; you’ve derailed! America is ready to take back the futures of our children from the catastrophic failure that is our Public School System. PLEASE do not read that as me saying there are no good teachers out there. There are terrific teachers in almost every school in the country. They are sincere in their mission but restrained by the greed of their unions and the system they own. There seems to be movement in the attitudes on that front as well. We’re ready to inject morality back into the lives of our kids who are learning confusing concepts well before the innocence of their youths have expired.

Free speech is a concept worth defending, but America seems ready to take it back from those who use it as a channel for their own lunacy. Yes, you have the right to say what you want, but that does not mean you get to impact the life of my children because your own beliefs are somehow more protected than my rights as a parent. That’s not what the founding fathers had in mind. I will gladly defend the idea of free speech in this country but I believe such a concept gives no shelter to men like the cowards at Westboro Baptist Church. The concept of free speech assumed that the men and women of this country would apply enough common sense to it’s use that law would not have to intervene.

This country is tired of being led to the slaughter by sadistic shepherds. Our leaders spend our money on things we don’t want. They spend our money on things that do absolutely nothing to enhance the future we hope to see. They do all this while we continue to follow one another to the slaughtering house. No more. Like a gawky, teenage boy entering puberty, our collective voices are beginning to change from the timid bleats of the lambs our leaders believe us to be into the intimidating roars of the lions we have always been. We will take back control of not only the political leadership in this country, but also the general direction in which we seem to be headed. Take control wherever you see an opportunity. Demand more from those who call themselves our ‘leaders.’ In fact, demand they refer to themselves as our ‘servants’ because that’s all they are. This idea that an elected official is better than the people they represent has come to an end. This is our year, dammit!

As always, thanks for playing!

Oh, The Merry Hypocrisy….

By: J Robert Giles

“I find capitalism repugnant. It is filthy, it is gross, it is alienating... because it causes war, hypocrisy and competition.”  Fidel Castro

Leave it to good ol’ Fidel to put that warm, fuzzy feeling in your heart. His chiseled appearance, worldly charm, and global influence obviously prove his credibility. His success and complete lack of civil unrest or poverty within the borders of his homeland most assuredly permit  him the right to talk down to us and our beliefs, right? I know, i castro-obama-e1313674328712 know…..it’s Christmas and I shouldn’t let the maniacal ravings of a guy who’s only alive because he has learned to use hatred as sustenance get to me. But, since we’re here…..it’s funny Fidel should mention ‘hypocrisy’ isn’t it? The fact that he would dare to use such a word to describe a way of life that has rendered his own belief system pretty much useless is hilarious. Such overt disdain for an economic system that has all but destroyed socialism. Castro has never made an attempt to hide his opposition to capitalism and often pointed to skewed figures to show failure where no one truly believes any exists. He would point to Africa and Latin America as capitalism failing but the part he never seemed to recognize is that capitalism cannot exist in a dictatorship. Success of capitalism requires democracy and it’s beautiful, inherent freedom. When one man or family has as much control over a country as Castro did, freedom and capitalism are only pretended among the masses. (Would someone please explain to Barack HUSSEIN Obama that socialism is bad and except for a few tent-living fools, the American people he so often refers to in his condescending speeches are happy with the benefits of capitalism?)

Hypocrisy doesn’t end with the grossly misinformed Cuban. Recently, in one of the most arrogant displays of hypocrisy I Sheenscan imagine, Martin Sheen held a press conference on the steps of a New York City courthouse to announce the innocence of a convicted cop killer. Apparently, Mr. Sheen believes the power granted his presidential character on The West Wing somehow translates to the real world. Martin, a longtime refugee from morality and conservative thought, believes he is a judge, jury, attorney, and warden. He is demanding the release of a man who attempted to rob the illegal casino run by a NYC cop over thirteen years ago. A scuffle ensued, and the officer was shot in the face. Does Martin Sheen have access to information or evidence not provided to the jury? Besides, is Martin Sheen really the man you want to  represent you? Look at his track record when it comes to character. Hypocrisy is apparently a gift a father can bestow upon his son as is evidenced by the very existence of Charlie Sheen’s fading career.

Charlie Sheen’s opinion is somehow still worthy of attention in the media. The crack addled, booze sponge exposes his children to his pornstar roommates, and is somehow heralded as ‘courageous’ for standing by his beliefs. He is supported and coddled by the media as if he is a child and publicity is the blankie so willingly given to him while discipline and accountability go unmentioned. Then, all of a sudden and with alarming predictability, the media gains a moral compass just in time to vilify Herman Cain. While I don’t necessarily believe Cain would have survived as a candidate, I find it hilarious that a media who praises the Sheen family and their ridiculous lifestyles and opinions could question the morals of anyone! A group of people willing to look past Slick Willy’s Oval Office Swine Fests as events that had nothing to do with the effective leadership of our country can’t fathom the thought of Herman Cain’s unscrupulous mind in that same office. Hypocrisy.

images (1) Then there’s that rare kind of hypocrisy that we all love to see. That kind of hypocrisy that exposes long opposed thought, opinion, or policy. Take, for example, the lawsuit that was recently brought forth against the bastion of liberal nonsense…..New York University or “N.Y.U.” as it is called in those circles more progressive than your own. It seems that a professor in the Fine Arts department had the nerve to give a poor grade to one of his students who missed 12 of 14 classes. The professor was publicly harassed and ridiculed by the student who happened to be overhyped actor, James Franco. Franco, star of such cinematic classics as Your Highness and Pineapple Express apparently believes that loaning his presence to any organization or institution warrants unyielding support. Attendance and participation in class are only requirements of those students who don’t already pretend for a living. The professor was fired and is now suing the school, but this lawsuit just reeks of hypocrisy, does it not? The very school that has, for decades, pumped out entitled snot actor after entitled snot actor is now being sued for treating an actor like a common student. The professor himself admits that he went out of his way to create a “Franco-friendly” environment. I would be very interested to see just how much of Mr. Franco’s absurdly unjustified net-worth was sacrificed for those classes. I’m willing to bet that there is at least one single mother putting herself through night classes at NYU who paid more than James Franco; the multi-millionaire, James Dean wannabe who managed to over-act the role of Spider-Man’s enemy. In a cinematic franchise known for horrible dialogue, and dazzling special effects with a cartoonish feel to them, Mr. Franco managed to leave audiences annoyed and wishing he had graced another film with his presence. Ahh, the sweet taste of misguided notions being exposed.

The world we have allowed to be created around us is one where hypocrisy is encouraged. We crave it because we have been programmed to do so. We ignore morality in one instance and demand it in another because we have become incapable of defending an unpopular opinion. James Franco has no power over me whatsoever. He shouldn’t have had any power over the admissions processes at NYU, but his celebrity dictated that such concessions be given. I wouldn’t give Charlie Sheen a glass of water if I found him wandering the desert for fear that his body would reject the unfamiliar substance, yet his horrendous morals are followed and chronicled as if they are something to which our kids should aspire. Fidel Castro is about as ridiculous a human being as there will ever be, yet whenever his opinion or stance will aid the left he’s regarded as a great leader. Castro spoke of the evils of capitalism. That’s like Steven Hawking criticizing a marathon runner’s poor technique. That’s like Jon Corzine being asked to give economic advice to the president…….wait……seriously? He did not really do that, did he?

Sift through the incessant crap that the media hurls at us and form your own thoughts. We are being manipulated and more and more evidence of that fact is rising to theHypocrisy surface. Stop being told that you have to change your ways when those telling you to do so are completely unwilling to change their own. Hypocrisy is all around you but it’s power is limited to your invitation. We’ve allowed ourselves to become a nation full of the very kind of people necessary to get Barack HUSSEIN Obama elected in the first place. Now, as those terrifying “Obama 2012” stickers begin appearing on more and more Prius’s and other SRV’s (Sex Repelling Vehicles) we cannot allow those who are vehemently defending his failed policies, laws, and actions to vote him back into office. They elected a man who took more from Wall Street than any other President in history and then have the nerve to blame Bush for Wall Street’s influence in politics. They elected a man who swore he would end the war in Iraq, and then demand that I believe his decision to do so after three years had nothing to do with the fact that his reelection now looks uncertain at best. They support a man who has literally lost BILLIONS of our dollars yet they blame others for the dire economic status of our country. Sure there is occasionally a crushing bit of hypocrisy on our side of the aisle as well, but Herman Cain allegedly sleeping with a co-worker 20 years ago did not put my job, my family, or my country in direct danger. They speak to us about morals and decency yet support the ACLU and NAMBLA. Hypocrisy surrounds you but you are NOT powerless unless you choose to be.

As always, thanks for playing.

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.   - Hebrews 13:2

Original Story By Nancy W. Gavin

1982

It's just a small, white envelope stuck among the branches of our Christmas tree. No name, no identification, no inscription. It has peeked through the branches of our tree for the past 10 years or so.

It all began because my husband Mike hated Christmas---oh, not the true meaning of Christmas, but the commercial aspects of it-overspending...the frantic running around at the last minute to get a tie for Uncle Harry and the dusting powder for Grandma---the gifts given in desperation because you couldn't think of anything else.

Knowing he felt this way, I decided one year to bypass the usual shirts, sweaters, ties and so forth. I reached for something special just for Mike. The inspiration came in an unusual way.

Our son Kevin, who was 12 that year, was wrestling at the junior level at the school he attended; and shortly before Christmas, there was a non-league match against a team sponsored by an inner-city church, mostly black.

These youngsters, dressed in sneakers so ragged that shoestrings seemed to be the only thing holding them together, presented a sharp contrast to our boys in their spiffy blue and gold uniforms and sparkling new wrestling shoes.

As the match began, I was alarmed to see that the other team was wrestling without headgear, a kind of light helmet designed to protect a wrestler's ears.

It was a luxury the ragtag team obviously could not afford. Well, we ended up walloping them. We took every weight class. And as each of their boys got up from the mat, he swaggered around in his tatters with false bravado, a kind of street pride that couldn't acknowledge defeat.

Mike, seated beside me, shook his head sadly, "I wish just one of them could have won," he said. "They have a lot of potential, but losing like this could take the heart right out of them."

Mike loved kids-all kids-and he knew them, having coached little league football, baseball and lacrosse. That's when the idea for his present came.

That afternoon, I went to a local sporting goods store and bought an assortment of wrestling headgear and shoes and sent them anonymously to the inner-city church.

On Christmas Eve, I placed the envelope on the tree, the note inside telling Mike what I had done and that this was his gift from me.

His smile was the brightest thing about Christmas that year and in succeeding years.

For each Christmas, I followed the tradition---one year sending a group of mentally handicapped youngsters to a hockey game, another year a check to a pair of elderly brothers whose home had burned to the ground the week before Christmas, and on and on.

The envelope became the highlight of our Christmas. It was always the last thing opened on Christmas morning and our children, ignoring their new toys, would stand with wide-eyed anticipation as their dad lifted the envelope from the tree to reveal it's contents.

As the children grew, the toys gave way to more practical presents, but the envelope never lost its allure. The story doesn't end there.

You see, we lost Mike last year due to dreaded cancer. When Christmas rolled around, I was still so wrapped in grief that I barely got the tree up. But Christmas Eve found me placing an envelope on the tree, and in the morning, it was joined by three more. Each of our children, unbeknownst to the others, had placed an envelope on the tree for their dad.

The tradition has grown and someday will expand even further with our grandchildren standing around the tree with wide-eyed anticipation watching as their fathers take down the envelope. Mike's spirit, like the Christmas spirit, will always be with us.

May we all remember each other, and the Real reason for the season, and His true spirit this year and always. God bless---pass this along to your friends and loved ones.

That story is the first of several I will share over the next eleven days. It’s that time of year. As I sit here writing this, surrounded by political absurdity, sports misery, and looming poverty; it’s stories like the one Mrs. Gavin told in 1982 that remind us all what this season is truly about. Mike Gavin was right; if the only thing you care about this time of year is the commercialized aspects of this Holiday, then you are a lost soul. Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ. We are in a fight to keep the right to celebrate it as such, but in our own homes, where our Christmas memories are made, we are free to celebrate Christmas as it was meant to be celebrated. The traditions, like the one enjoyed by the Gavin family to this day, are what the Christmas season is all about.

Occupy Wall Street hippies and ACLU morons can oppose Christmas all they want but they will never force us into retreat. Beyond the commercial greed, and the billons of dollars spent on gifts, decorations, and electricity for the front yard light displays, Christmas is about love. It’s about giving of not only gifts to the ones you love, but to people you wouldn’t normally notice. Those gifts need not be fancy or expensive. They need not be wrapped in delicate ribbons or beautiful paper. They can be gifts of generosity or time. As long as they are given from a genuine heart they have earned the title of “gift.”

Give your gifts. Give things at Christmas you wouldn’t normally give. Embrace the very foundation of this holiday and cherish the spirit that consumes you. Set aside arguments with forgotten sources. Surrender control and welcome with open arms the full force of Christmas. The songs, the sounds, the smells, the tastes…..as soon as they leave, you’ll miss them. Enjoy them while they’re here so that you can anticipate them again next year. There will always be those who refuse the gifts delivered on the day that launched this annual celebration. The biggest gift you can give this year is to pray a selfless, heartfelt prayer for those who have not discovered the power behind such actions for themselves. We all have close friends who do not share our religious views. We have family members with values that more closely resemble the values of our enemies than our own. Pray for them. Pray that they discover the power to see the world as you see the world at Christmas. Pray that they can one day enjoy not only the memory of their mother decorating the house, but that they can enjoy the celebration of Christ that kept their mother happy as she did so. Pray that they can not only enjoy the memory of a grandmother’s monkey bread, but also the guiding hand of Christ that kept heart attacks at bay as a recipe consisting of mostly butter and sugar was consumed. Pray that they come to know the joy of seeing their kids anticipate a candlelight Church service as an important and non-negotiable part of their budding Christmas traditions. Christmas is about sharing, so share Christmas. Share it or lose it to the misguided opposition.

The Spirit of Christmas allows for indulgence and encourages laughter. Christmas is the one time in our year when thoughts of political landscape can be set aside for a few days while tradition is honored, loved ones are remembered, and family is gathered. Enjoy this time, take lots of pictures, and we’ll get back to the lunacy on Friday!

As always, thanks for playing!

Giving Away the USA….

"There's no such thing as entitlement, unless someone has first met an obligation." – Margaret Thatcher

Ever heard of the Universal Service Fee? Ever see it on your cell-phone bill and just assume it’s a fee you signed up for at some point? Guess what…..it’s not. The Universal Service Fee is a program by which you, me, and anyone else working hard to pay their own constantly changing cell phone bill are actually paying for “low-income families” to enjoy cell-phone freedom. You see, the money you pay to cover this fee each month is then collected from your carrier and turned into cell-phones for the poor.

“According to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) telecom providers receive money from the Universal Service Fund to provide cell service to lowbanger_with_blackberry income residents. In order to qualify for the program you need to show you are receiving additional forms of assistance like food stamps or TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families). The Universal Service is funded by fees paid to telephone providers when customers pay their phone bill.” {Chris Nagus – KMOV}

I’m sick of providing for those unwilling to provide for themselves. Just because I have something you want does not mean you are entitled to it. Welfare, dependence, entitlement……they’re all  damaging but prevalent mentalities in our country. Remember the old days when you worked your tail off with a goal in mind? Our country has become the equivalent of 312 million little brothers and sisters whining because we don’t get gifts on our big brother’s birthday. The liberal in you is laughing dismissively at that comparison, but you know as well as I do that it’s true. We’ve got to put an end to it.

spending government-spending Where’s the pride? Where’s the American Spirit we all claim to hold so dear? That spirit, the one we all claim to understand…….it says nothing about getting crap you didn’t earn!! If you didn’t earn enough money, and carefully budget that money, to go out in your own car, fueled by gas that you paid for, and buy your own damn cell phone then you don’t get a cell phone. You’re just going to have to wait to call all of your life advancing associates so eagerly awaiting your contact. It’s easy for me to sit here and complain from the safety of my computer, but what can we do to make a serious dent in this crippling mentality? What can any of us do on our own? After all, you didn’t get a choice in whether or not you paid this Universal Service Fee, did you? No, you didn’t. It was something that was simply added to your bill, never explained, and forced upon you. If you don’t pay it, you don’t get to continue using your own phone. That’s fair, right? Pay for someone else’s free phone, or we take yours away. Exactly how our forefathers drew it up, right?

It’s high time we start letting the people responsible for actions such as the Universal Service Fee know that we are sick of funding mediocrity. We’re sick of supporting a system that allows and encourages lucrative unemployment. There are streets that need cleaning, graffiti that needs erasing, highways that need repair, and neighborhoods that need policing. Do some of that and then we can talk about getting a cell-phone, okay? Being unemployed has become a full time job. If you’re good enough at it, you can get pretty much anything you want without having to work for it. Truly indigent is one thing. Poor, uneducated, and loud by choice is quite another. Why do I have to give a cell phone to a man that refers to me as “whitey” or “cracker” and then insinuates that I’m racist if I don’t vote for an unqualified, unproven, un-American candidate? Obama was elected because an overwhelming number of people believed he would provide them with more free crap than John McCain bea-income-550x330would have provided.

The biggest problem is not the laziness and loudmouthed pride in borderline illiteracy. It’s not the “gimme that cause you got it and I want it” attitude that seems to have   gripped our nation’s youth. It’s not even the welfare system itself. The problem is that we have let lawyers and corrupt legislators get us to a point where there are more people taking from the system than there are contributing to it. There are more people with their hand in the cookie jar than there are cookies. Do you understand, or should I come up with another way to say it? There are more foxes in the hen-house than chickens or eggs. Giving to those truly in need is a noble, generous cause. Expanding the definition of ‘need’ to include those who simply don’t want to work is criminal.

Here’s a short list of just a few of the entitlement programs YOU are funding…..

Universal Service Fee

Medicare / Medicaid

Social Security

529 / Coverdell

Supplemental Security Income

Pell Grants

Unemployment Benefits

Welfare/Public Assistance

LIHEAP (Low Income Housing Energy Assistance Program – 1 in 10 recipients are fraudulent!!!)

Stafford Loans

Food Stamps

TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program)

Consolidated Health Care Centers Program

As I’m sure you are aware, these are just a few of the literally hundreds of ways people are continuously milking our country dry. To make matters worse, the people tasked with running, monitoring, and enforcing the guidelines and policies of these programs are “mentally unemployed” despite the fact they collect a paycheck backed by my tax dollars. Fraud, failure to identify fraud, misappropriation of funds, embezzlement…..there are too many stories to count. We continue to get screwed while manipulative people manipulate a system that encourages and thrives upon manipulation.

You know what has to be done, make sure it happens!

As always, thanks for playing!

ronald_reagan-2

janeane_garofalo_2A liberal listens to the ACLU and self-serving Hollywood scum. A conservative understands them.”  - ME  (Channeling Reagan!)

I often write about my overt disdain for all things liberal, but in a recent article I asked readers if they believed their children were strong enough to stand up and defend their conservative values in the face of the boisterous opposition. That opposition is often made to look ‘cool’ or enticing to young people through liberal strongholds in media, education, unions, and entertainment. Sadly, these sectors of our society hold more of our children’s attention than parental guidance can ever hope to obtain. Matters once considered to be exclusively those of a family are now openly viewed as “teachable moments” in our school systems. To insure that indoctrination occurs prior to family involvement, teaching of subjects once considered risqué at the collegiate level of American education are now being introduced as early as possible. Sexual discussions take place in first grade classrooms and to question the morality of this grossly inappropriate attack is considered bigotry. To suggest there’s too much vulgarity, or exposure to adult matters on TV means you’re not “progressive enough”.

It occurs to me that the best way to combat this ever-expanding indoctrination of our children is to arm them with facts, often and early. During a discussion with my own children recently, I was humbly surprised to discover the level of confusion when it comes to matters of Liberal versus Conservative. Despite what kids will tell you, they emulate what they see at home. If kids see their parents react negatively to a blatantly liberal slant in the media coverage of just about anything, they might feel negatively about an issue but not understand why they feel that way. I refuse to tell my children what to think, but I feel it’s my biggest responsibility as a parent to lead them down the right path as far as I can. At some point they will be on their own and free to live their lives, educate their own children, and view the world around them any way they choose. It is my job to lay the foundation upon which those future decisions will be based. Blindly voting because it’s what you’ve been ‘told’ to do is just as bad as voting for an unqualified candidate, regardless of party affiliation. Arm them with facts. That’s all you can do. (That doesn’t mean you can’t put your own spin on the facts as I have so graciously done in the outline below!)

Here are the facts as I see them…..use them to separate what is ‘said’ from what is ‘real’……use them to defend your own views as well as those of your family:

Liberals

CONSERVATIVES

ABORTION: Government should provide taxpayer assisted abortions to help women who can’t afford children kill their unborn fetuses. Heartbeat does NOT equal life and therefore the fetus has no individual rights. ABORTION: Human life begins at conception. As a living being, the fetus has rights separate from the mother so abortion is murder. It’s important that your children know the difference between YOU and the nutbags blowing up abortion clinics. That’s who their teachers and media influences will point to in their arguments for abortion.
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION: Government should work to insure that all those whose ancestors were once horribly mistreated in this country now receive free housing, career, presidential nominations, and Nobel Prizes. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION: Earn your job, your money, your possessions, and your rewards. The color of your skin, your sexual orientation, your religion, and your appearance have nothing to do with it. If you didn’t earn something, don’t expect it to be given to you!
DEATH PENALTY: Someone who murders another human being in a horrific, meticulously planned manner has “rights” and should be humanely treated at taxpayer expense for the rest of his or her natural life. DEATH PENALTY: If you take my child, my wife, my parent, or my brother from me…..I get to watch you die. Plain and simple. I don’t give a damn about your ‘rights’ and I certainly don’t think a penny of my taxes should go toward making sure you get three meals a day in front of a cable television.

ECONOMY: Give the government everything you can and then give some more. They are better equipped to spend your money than you are. You’re a peasant. ECONOMY: Keep your money and spend it how you see fit, just spend it in America. Conservatives believe that economic growth starts with the citizens living in the economy, not the government stealing from it.
EDUCATION: Public education is the only way to keep the liberal voting unions happy and it is the only way to insure that your children are properly indoctrinated at an early age. You can’t be trusted to choose an appropriate school for your own children, the government needs to do that for you.
EDUCATION: A Voucher system would encourage competition and promote better performance. Schools promoting ideological lunacy would no longer receive your tax-money under this system and such institutions would eventually crumble. Teachers could be awarded based on performance rather than tenure.
STEM CELL RESEARCH: Embryonic Stem Cell research is okay because, as previously discussed, a fetus has no rights. The blastocyst used in this type of research has no human features yet. That’s their stance. That’s their big justification. They don’t look like humans yet so kill ‘em. STEM CELL RESEARCH: Supports the use of adult and umbilical cord stem cells only. Stem cells are widely believed to carry answers to medical questions which have gone universally unanswered for centuries. Stem cells could provide clues to everything from curing diseases to reducing the impact of a physical deformation. Conservatives simply don’t believe a baby should have to be aborted in order to conduct said research. Effective cells can be harvested by other, non-baby-killing means.
ENERGY: While the left has not yet found a way to convince the easily fooled that we no longer need energy, they have managed to convince an alarming number of people that government is the only entity capable of exploring alternative energy sources. In other words; “give us your money and we’ll make sure we find a replacement for oil.” Liberals promote clean energy, but believe that government is the only one capable of researching it.  ENERGY: Government has made a colossal mess of the energy situation in our country. Enron was a criminal debacle and is often pointed to as a reason for government involvement in energy exploration. Please let your children know that a few greedy executives taking all of their employee’s money and running for the hills has nothing to do with competition and ingenuity among the private sector. What they did was despicable, but it does not mean you should hand more of your money to the government when they have conclusively failed to act thus far. They have created a system where action is impossible.
GLOBAL WARMING: Al Gore said it, so it must be true. Liberals believe that global warming is caused by our constant burning of fossil fuels and the carbon dioxide such actions create. GLOBAL WARMING: Al Gore said it, so it must be BS! Conservatives believe humans are not capable of controlling nature but that environmental care is a good idea for logical reasons. No evidence can be shown to indicate change in temperatures is related to impact of man. Actions called for by the left would only lead to increased government presence, expense, and inflation. (Seriously, Read Michael Crichton’s State of Fear. It’s simply the best anti-liberal weapon you can have regarding Global Warming. Plus, a liberal gets eaten by the savages he’s trying to ‘save’)
GUN CONTROL: People don’t need guns, only the police and other enforcement agencies should be allowed to carry guns. (See Operation Fast and Furious) GUN CONTROL: The Second Amendment to the US Constitution clearly defines our right to keep and bear arms. Do not let your children be convinced that the Second Amendment only allows for a state to keep a militia (i.e. National Guard) as liberals love to claim. in 1787, when the Amendment was written, a ‘militia’ referred to armed citizens using their own weapons to defend themselves, their land, and their families.

HEALTH CARE: Government should be in charge of that too. Give us more money. (See Obama-care) HEALTH CARE: Privately funded healthcare means competition, research, and results driven care. The government should not be able to force sub-par health care upon us. Why should I be covered with the same care and level of knowledge as the gang member who was shot by another gang member over a nonsense based turf-war when I can afford better coverage in a private hospital? Because the government couldn’t rob me that way, that’s why!
HOMELAND SECURITY: They don’t care, just give ‘em more money! HOMELAND SECURITY: Secure our borders, profile everyone regardless of their “feelings”. The terrorists that conducted the 9-11 Attacks were very well trained to blend into our society. The only similar characteristics they shared were their skin-tones, language, and religion. If you’re not a terrorist, criminal, or illegal immigrant then you shouldn’t be worried. Don’t let your children believe that their “freedoms” are being stolen in the name of security. That’s just ACLU hogwash!
IMMIGRATION: Let everyone in as long as they are willing to vote democrat and of course, give more money to government. Porous borders do not pose a security threat. Let’s sit in a big drum-circle and find more ways to waste taxpayer money, time, and resources. IMMIGRATION: Conservatives prescribe to the silly notion that people allowed to vote, receive taxpayer funded government benefits, receive taxpayer funded healthcare, or receive permanent employment in this country should be US Citizens. Just because you sneaked into the country and had a baby, that doesn’t mean you get a chunk of my income. Learn the language, the traditions, the customs, and the history of this great country before you destroy it from within, please. No, that does not make me a bigot. It does not make me uneducated; a hillbilly; unenlightened, or any other annoying name you can conceive. It makes me an AMERICAN!
RELIGION: God and Christmas don’t generate a steady stream of income yet. They must be banned. Mentioning God in any fashion may offend the sensitive ears of the people in our country that pray to another god, or don’t pray at all. Liberals believe “separation of church and state” is a law. Liberals often chastise Christians, making light of our beliefs; deeming religion to be a tool of the weak. While there may be some very devout Christian liberals out there, it would be quickly determined that they are (1) only ‘liberal’ on a few issues or (2) Godless heathens who don’t know the first thing about Faith. RELIGION: Separation of church and state is NOT a law! In fact, the words do not even appear in any federal documents. The idea came from a letter by Thomas Jefferson written in 1802 to the Danbury Baptist Association. In it, he described the need for government to stay out of ruling the church but called for God to influence EVERY decision made in government. Our country was founded by Christian men. That’s a fact. If you choose not to pray to a Christian God, that’s the right afforded you by the sacrifice of men who did. That does NOT mean you get to tell me to stop praying or to stop celebrating the birth of MY SAVIOR. When Mecca allows a cross atop the Ka’ba to satisfy my “feelings”, I’ll allow “In God We Trust” to be removed from our currency. Deal?
WELFARE: Kids, if you study, get good grades for the first eighteen years of your life, show up to work every day and work as hard as you can; make sound financial decisions; save your money and provide for your family……you should have to give most of your money to the government so they can in turn give it to someone who has done NONE of those things. Liberals believe that welfare promotes equality and gives the poor the chance they need. (See Welfare Checks Cashed in California Casinos)
WELFARE: Conservatives believe we should stop giving handouts to those who are simply milking the system. Parents raising special needs children, people with true disabilities, and wounded warriors are about the only exception I’m willing to concede. You don’t get MY money just because you are too lazy or too intentionally stupid to earn your own. Take a bath, hippie!

(feel free to print, laminate, and distribute this chart for your children!)

I guess the best way to summarize the differences between conservatives and liberals, in a manner your children will be able to comprehend and recite, is as follows:

Liberals hate success, individual wealth, security, Jesus, Santa, and babies. (Probably puppies and cake too.) Conservatives hate liberals.

A dishonest man spreads strife and a whisperer separates close friends. - Proverbs 16:28

5215800368_76e73d39a9
As I was out and about this weekend, it was impossible to ignore the fact that the Holidays are rapidly approaching. I say ‘Holidays’ because I am referring to multiple days of celebration, not because I’m afraid to say “CHRISTmas.” CHRISTmas is definitely one of the Holidays I will be celebrating with the ones I love, but this year, I would like to encourage each and every one of you to share your CHRISTmas cheer with a group that has given so much to us all.
This group often encourages those unable to encourage themselves and yet CHRISTmas is just another day on the calendar in their world. They defend the indefensible. They spend countless hours helping those willing to fight their own fights learn to instead blame someone else. They take from the rich and retain the richer to insure that your rights are not more important than those of their clients.
I’m talking about the worthless tireless efforts of the ACLU, of course. The ACLU, or American Civil Liberties Union, has given us so many gifts over the years and at the end of this article, I will offer a suggestion of just one way we can show them our gratitude. First, let’s take a look at just a few of the many, many gifts bestowed upon us, the little people, by the mighty ACLU.
NAMBLA: Due to the overwhelming generosity of the ACLU and their rock solid moral interpretation of our world, I now know about the existence of a group calling themselves NAMBLA (North American Man-Boy Love Association). The ACLU joined forces with NAMBLA in the Spring of 2000 when the group of disgusting perverts was having their precious ‘rights’ trampled by some angry parents who were upset when their son was murdered, THEN raped, then encased in cement and dumped in a river. These parents got all uppity when the killers were found to be card carrying members of NAMBLA and they started spewing out all sorts of hateful rhetoric. If there’s anything the ACLU won’t stand for, it’s hateful rhetoric, so naturally they agreed to represent NAMBLA in the legal proceedings. For those of you unaware, NAMBLA advocates sexual education among young boys by allowing older men to sodomize them. I would explain further, but researching the facts about this disgusting group is making me a bit sick. If you’d like to know more, PLEASE stop reading my words and go do your own research.
ChurchillVoters shouldn’t be required to read.”: Yet another stunning example of ACLU magic. This one stems from a Florida case, Stupid Votebut the ACLU has been involved in litigation against any state that dares to suggest ‘citizens’ should be required to read before voting. Their arguments contain such mantras as “our boys in the military didn’t have to  read the constitution before dying for our country” and  “you ain’t gotta read to pay taxes!” Both brilliant and articulate points but let’s push forward, shall we? While allowing imbeciles to vote has been an adventure, I say it’s time we start requiring tests for almost anything the easily fooled label as their “right”. At a BARE MINIMUM, I believe voters should be tested on basic essentials of Federal or State Government. It’s a right of citizens to vote, but that right has been stretched and weakened to the point that reinforcement is now a necessity. There’s a reason the ACLU wants illiterate morons with questionable citizenship to vote in our country. Those people will vote for whoever they believe will give them the most free crap. Those people come out of their feces filled tents on Wall Street to vote for the people the ACLU and other unions tell them to vote for. They vote, and they vote loudly so that we feel we’re making a mistake by voting with our brains. Just because they’re the loudest does NOT mean they are right. If you teach nothing else to your children, make it that lesson.

Keep Texas’ politically slanted textbooks out of our schools.”: I guess when someone doesn’t agree with the ACLU’s particular brand of lunacy, they are “politically slanted.” This quote comes from a form letter the ACLU posted on their website so that concerned liberals (most likely the aforementioned illiterate ones) could demand that a Texas Board of Education decision be overturned. They couldn’t trust the people that would listen to the ACLU to write their own letters, so they made it as simple as possible. Just input your name, dude. See, Texas refuses to bow to the will of the ACLU and they refuse to take Religion out of their curriculum. They’re not preaching one religion over another. They’re not demanding prayer. Just teaching the historical fact that religion is one of the freedoms our country was founded upon. That obviously got the ACLU all fired up and they called their legions to action. They were proud to report that almost 12,000 people sent in their steadfast opposition to an offensive and ideological movement by the “religious lot.” Twelve thousand? Really? That’s the number you were aiming for? Really? I was bumped into by more people than that this weekend! Just to bring you up to speed……sodomizing little boys in the name of sexual education: OKAY! Illiterate voters that may not even be US Citizens: OKAY! Mentioning religion in a school textbook: HOW DARE YOU?!
Same sex marriage is our {ACLU} top priority.”: That’s Anthony Romero (pictured to the right in an intentionally small photograph), Executive Director of Anthony Romerothe ACLU in an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer. What about  National Security you idiot? Shouldn’t that be a topic you discuss in your fairy tale meetings from time to time? Do you think Ayatollah Obama can guarantee the safety of all your little same-sex marriages when our country adopts Shari' a law over the distorted constitution you’ve left in your wake? You continue to try to shove the absurd notion that foreign enemies captured on a foreign battlefield engaged in acts of war against the US deserve the same rights as a citizen of this country. How the heck is that national security? You’re an idiot and you should be tried for treason but I’m guessing that would violate some right you have mangled to fit your needs.
Thank God for dead soldiers.”: Finally, it would appear that the ACLU has found God. At last, the lost have seen the light and are heading boldly into moral sanity……oh, wait. Nope, I was wrong! They’re defending those idiots at Westboro Baptist Church. The ACLU has tried and tried to get the media on board with the purely insane antics of this so-called Christian group, but even the most hardened liberals are having a tough time wrapping their minds around defending a group that protests at a soldier’s funeral. Yes, it’s constitutionally legal, but do you really believe our Founding Fathers intended for this to be the application of Freedom of Speech? I sure as hell don’t. (And just as a side-note: These people are NOT Christians. They are a small sect that has gone severely off track. Tell your local media to stop using these fools as an example of “religious behavior.”) I’ve read a great deal of the Bible and I have yet to see scripture stating that God will send Improvised Explosive Devices to Iraq (Babylon or Mesopotamia back then) if the US supports homosexuality.

Every year, someone gets sued for having a nativity scene displayed somewhere that brings mild discomfort to a non-Christian and the ACLU is right there in the thick of things. Again, I have to ask who it is that the ACLU is protecting? Based on the information outlined above, it would appear that the ACLU cares less about the baby Jesus in the sacred Nativity Scene than they do about the man who would wander into the scene with an erection and exercise his “right” to “sexually educate” the child.
I’m tired of having to refer to “The Holidays” because the ACLU tells me “Christmas” offends someone. So what? Anyone who knows me can tell you that I really don’t care if I offend people, but I care even less about offending a group that aims to simply rewrite historical facts to suit their agenda. No, no, that won’t do at all. It’s time to tell the ACLU to SHUT UP!! Separation of Church and State is not a law. It doesn’t appear in any Federal Documents. The ACLU would love for you to believe that this is one of the founding concepts of our country, but like most things they have severely distorted the truth on this issue. Thomas Jefferson wrote a letter to the Danbury Baptist Association in 1802. In it, he outlined the need for “a wall of separation’ between government and Church. Jefferson essentially said that government had no authority over man’s belief in God but that God should play a role in every decision made by government. Nowhere is it written that the Ten Commandments must be removed from courthouses, and “Under God” removed from our currency.
Now that we’ve seen a small sampling of the many wonderful things the ACLU has done for us, don’t you think it’s time we give back? This CHRISTmas season, take the time to send a Christmas Card to the ACLU. It will only cost you a few dollars and maybe a few steps to your mailbox, but it will mean the world to some sad, whining little man in a dark room in the bowels of Washington DC who may be on the verge of launching another attack on everything you hold dear. Please join me in doing this. I plan to send at least three cards this year. I will not include any vulgarities and I will not try to incite a riot; I will simply wish the clowns at the ACLU a “Merry Christmas”……..three times.
Send this article to everyone you know. Send as many cards as you can……organize card drives……..encourage your kids to make their own cards and send them…….buy cards for those who can’t buy their own and hire buses to drive them to the post office in time for the big send-off. Send as many as possible. The overwhelming amounts of mail will clog their system as they are required to open every piece of mail in search of donations. I implore you…..CLOG THAT SYSTEM!!! Has there ever been a system more worthy of clogging??
