Looking Through The Wrong Lens…..

“Falling down is how we grow. Staying down is how we die.” - Brian Vaszily

US President Barack Obama gestures for the crowd to keep quiet about his visit to the O&H Danish Bakery to buy kringle pastries so that First Lady Michelle Obama wouldn't find out about the visit, during a town hall event on the economy at Racine Memorial Hall in Racine, Wisconsin, June 30, 2010. AFP PHOTO / Saul LOEB (Photo credit should read SAUL LOEB/AFP/Getty Images)

Put as simply as possible, it’s time to get up before we die. America is about to hear the tenth and final slap of the referee’s palm against the canvas beneath her disoriented head. What other analogy can be used? What will it take to call you to action?

Last night as I lay in bed, battling sleep with my trusted remote control in my palm, I was literally shot in the face with Obama’s latest insult. This ridiculous ad he’s running about Romney being such an “outsourcer” of American jobs. Just about coughed up the lemon flavored cardboard my wife tries to pass off as a cookie. Fiber has no pace in a dessert!

Before I attack the lunacy that is our current president, let’s respond to the horrendous allegations and implications of his campaign. Actions that His Barackness himself eagerly endorses at the tail-end of the agonizing smut. In the ad, Obama’s morality-free campaign asserts that Romney actively sought opportunities to send American jobs overseas. Has there ever been a more classic example of the liberal mind?

Liberals are incapable of seeing beyond the individual. They can’t look at things in terms of “the greater good.” Their only mindset is selfishness and they continue to prove this fact with every ridiculous cause they champion. They prove it with every absurd stance they take. They reinforce this fact with every misrepresented truth they scream from their imaginary mountain tops.

Liberals are incapable of seeing beyond the immediate gratification of their insane ideas. Obama couldn’t wait to get into office and give all of our money away. He couldn’t wait to impose this massive healthcare burden unto all of us. He couldn’t wait to cast our economy into a victim dependent abyss. An abyss from which escape will prove to be impossible if we don’t act in historic proportions on November 6th.

Liberals believe that a company is evil if it is successful. People have been bred by liberal rhetoric and subliminal attack to believe that success is something to be feared. Success is loathed because it is so envied. That is why liberalism is often “outgrown.” Eventually, life demands attention to self in order to survive. Life demands tough decisions that flimsy ideology simply can’t support. Life eventually demands that we all grow up a little.

When Mitt Romney ran the companies Obama loves to loathe, he did in fact send jobs overseas, but doing so insured the life and profit of the company he was running. See, in this respect…..companies are not individuals. A true leader cannot afford to look at his company through the needs of the individuals within it. A true leader takes the opinions and needs of his loyal employees into account when possible, but occasionally corporate survival requires decisions that are wildly unpopular at the “victim level.”

Business requires attention to detail, realistic vision, and the ability stand firm in one’s convictions. Romney has proven time and time again that this is exactly the kind of man he is. He has left a trail of verifiable success in the wake of his life, and his business decisions have exemplified this trait. Yes, Mitt Romney sent jobs overseas. It’s a fact. What’s skillfully omitted from this fact is that the company Mr. Romney was in charge of at the times in question all survived, In fact they flourished. Jobs were sent overseas because it made business sense. Jobs were sent overseas to reduce operating expenses while increasing profits. Those profits were then used to put Americans back home to work. The needs and opinions of the radical Islamic leaders of the madrassa Romney attended while living in Jakarta as a boy were never once considered. The needs and ambitions of Romney’s communist revolutionary alliances forged in his past were never taken into account. Sarcasm aside, Mitt Romney has the uniquely conservative ability to look beyond the manipulated madness of liberal reality and see the greater good. No good leader will EVER achieve 100% approval ratings. Even God can’t get that kind of approval, but luckily His existence doesn’t depend on such earthly endeavors.

Our government was not designed to insure the survival of you. Our government was designed to insure the survival of America. It’s time we start teaching people the difference. Success in America is not guaranteed. The right to pursue success is guaranteed but the journey is left entirely up to the traveler. Those who fail to plan appropriately will fail. Those who refuse to adapt to a changing market will fail. Those who align themselves with flawed ideology will taste defeat. Those who scream success when failure has been merely disguised will suffer in their own consequences.

Only a liberal could flash photos of himself in factories of companies that were given HUGE chunks of OUR money just before declaring bankruptcy and point to it as a ‘record of success.” Obama has not sent any jobs overseas because he doesn’t believe in jobs. Jobs are just a tool of those too stupid to see the brilliance of total government dependence yet. Obama’s outsourcing has been far more malicious and devastating than the opening of a couple of call centers.

Romney sent jobs overseas, but Obama has stolen our money in the name of insane theoretical beliefs and funded projects all over the world with it. Projects that serve no benefit whatsoever to America. To question these decisions gets conservatives labeled as selfish, right wing, racists. Am I racist because I don’t believe that stimulus grants to India for wind turbine farms built by Indians, manned by Indians, and constructed with Indian materials is as important as domestic projects? Am I a redneck because I don’t feel the Melanoma Institute of Australia deserved $162,000.00 of OUR money for tumor samples? Do we not have enough case studies here within our borders? Is cancer different in Australia? Am I selfish because I don’t believe Obama’s old stomping grounds of Jakarta, Indonesia deserved $15,000,000.00 of OUR money to clean up their air quality? Texas can’t get federal funding for flood damage, fire damage, mold damage, or crop damage caused by natural disasters, but Jakarta Indonesia; a destination to which Americans are “discouraged” from travelling for terrorism reasons, gets FIFTEEN MILLION DOLLARS of our money? THAT is the real definition of outsourcing. What Romney did was exactly what he was asked to do and the companies he represented survived. What Obama has done is to spread a sense of American failure and gullibility to the furthest reaches of the planet.

Here’s the rest of the OUTSOURCING in which Obama has participated during his Presidency as brought to us by the RNC.

· Switzerland – Over $50,000,000.00 in stimulus funds given to Swiss Firm Landis-Gyr. Obama Energy Department official Cathy Zoi, a former Executive Director at Landis-Gyr profited tremendously from the decisions of her own department. Outsourced cronyism.

· China - $39,000,000.00 to LED maker Cree Incorporated who used said funds to open and man a factory in China. Sempra received a $337,000,000.00 stimulus check to build a solar farm in Arizona. The solar panels are due to arrive from China soon.

· Finland – Fiskar Automotive was given a $500,000,000.00 loan guarantee to produce a $100k Luxury Electric Sports Car – being sold and built exclusively in Finland.

· Denmark – Danish wind mill maker Vestas received $51,600,000.00 in stimulus funds to build factories in the United States. Vestas recently announced they will be laying off as many as 1,600 Americans by the end of the year. Another solid investment of OUR money, thank you! $218,000,000.00 in Stimulus Grants to the Windy Flats Project – turbines used were purchased, built, and assembled in Denmark by Siemens.

· South Korea - $300,000,000.00 of OUR money given to the Korean manufacturer of electric car batteries. In return, they were to build plants in Michigan. They did. And they are now bringing in foreign nationals to work in those factories instead of local, capable, Americans. Our own Department of Energy has admitted that 11 of the 18 contractors on site are Asian firms.

· Mexico - $1,300,000,000.00 of OUR money to Mexico for the construction of the solar panels being used in the infamous California Solar Farm. SunPower, the firm building the panels has a factory in California but is choosing to build in their Mexico site instead. Mexican firm ABB received over $16,000,000.00 of OUR money to create green manufacturing jobs in the United States. After cashing our checks, they have laid off hundreds of Americans and transferred work to Mexico.

· Thailand – After taking our money in the bailout program, then showering union jobs with it, General Motors opens a $200,000,000.00 plant in Thailand. Why couldn’t diesel engines be built in Missouri, or at any other American plant? Why couldn’t our money have been used to give US jobs that we so desperately need?

· Vietnam – CEO of General Electric, Jeffrey Immelt is tapped to run President Obama’s Job Council and magically, GE gets $1,200,000,000.00 of OUR money. They build a $61,000,000.00 factory in Hai Pong to produce wind turbine components and have announced plans to ship even more infrastructure there in the near future.

That’s $4,210,762,000.00 of OUR money that His Barackness has shipped overseas and that’s only 50% of the 22 countries listed. (CLICK HERE for a complete list.) Grab one of these Prius driving fools who supports this imbecile and explain to them having calls directed to a call center in a foreign country for profitability and less government interference is a far cry from sending billions of our dollars to countries who feel they owe us nothing. Wake up, and educate those around you. Silence is literally tyranny because failure can only be the result of fraud or our own complacency. Rest assured.

As always, thanks for playing!

Their Playbook Is Outdated…..

“In a country well governed, poverty is something to be ashamed of. In a country badly governed, wealth is something to be ashamed of.”  - Confucius

Praise seems to be so easily earned these days. Actually, that’s not true. Praise is seldom earned. ‘Praise is so easily stolen, bought, or extorted these days’ would be a more accurate way to state it. Even more troubling than the manner in which the praise is obtained is the characteristics, values, or actions that receive the praise. Poverty is cool in our society as long as it makes you tough. Wealth is frowned upon unless it was obtained by questionable means. Confucius would be quite perplexed.

There for a while, it seemed that there was a severe panty-drought among Hollywood’s starlets. It was as if public display of lady-parts was a prerequisite for admission into the A-list. Then came the sex-tape. The poor, manipulated victim who knew nothing about the camera or the tape until her ex releases it into the internet. Through it all there has been one common variable and that has been celebrity. The lifestyle, wealth, and publicity that comes with celebrity seems to be more ardently pursued than all moral virtues combined. We’re obsessed with which celebrity is sleeping with which celebrity. Entire sections of magazines are dedicated to paparazzi photos of celebrities in compromising positions. The latest trend seems to be the “leaked” cell-phone photo. Yet these are the people our kids praise.

In a recent study by Forbes Magazine, it was revealed that only two of the Top Twenty Highest Paid Actors and Actresses have graduated from college. Those who did NOT graduate include George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Ben Stiller, Sean Combs, and Tom Hanks. I don’t think many of you would be surprised to hear that Kid Rock, Lil’ Wayne, and 50 Cent never received collegiate diplomas either. I’m not saying that they should be required to give back any of their money, but I am asking why these people are viewed as deserving of their wealth, but Mitt Romney somehow isn’t? Why? Can anyone explain that? If anyone can honestly convince me that Kim Kardashian is worthy of $100,000 per domestic appearance, and as much as $1,000,000 for an international one, I would love to hear it. I’m not suggesting that a college degree is absolutely mandatory for success, but anyone who thinks they will one day live like a Kardashian because they too have an enormous butt is probably not living in an overly logical world. There can be no more perfect example of this truth than the audition phase of any talent show like American Idol where contestants with absolutely no talent whatsoever threaten everything from future regret to physical violence against judges who dare to ignore their ‘gifts.’ Everyone believes they are deserving of fame. What’s even more enraging is the fact that everyone believes they are MORE deserving of fame than everyone else. And still, these are the people our kids admire.

The most infuriating part of this celebrity infatuation is the fact that Obama has so skillfully tapped into it in a way that has benefited him and his twisted ideology for almost a decade. Literally. Obama used records from another man’s divorce to win his senate seat. Obama released sordid details of sexual exploits between Jack Ryan and his wife, actress Jeri Ryan that had come up in the course of their divorce. In no way should Jack Ryan’s sexual exploits with his wife have gotten him removed from the Illinois ballots, but Obama’s skillful portrayal of deviance did just that. Again, that’s not to say that Jack and Jeri Ryan didn’t have one twisted marriage, but it was a consensual one and the records should not have been made available to Obama. Why were those stories and allegations so easily endorsed and publicized by the media but the story of all three homosexual men in Obama’s church turning up executed just before the rise of Barackness raises nary an eyebrow? Why is that? When we dare to suggest some kind of coordinated effort, we are labeled as “tin-foil-hat-brigades” or “birthers” or “conspiracy kooks.” Why? Why does that story deserve so little credit? Three men were shot in the back of their heads. Three men with known ties to Barack Obama who many assumed were his “down-low” lovers. If these circumstances surrounded Mitt Romney I believe CNN would have to start a new station devoted entirely to the vetting of all pertinent facts. As it stands, no such action or interest is taking place. Why is it that the detailed descriptions of the intensely sexual relationship Larry Sinclair had with Obama in 1999 are dismissed as silly, but Mitt Romney hazing a kid so viciously that it caused his eventual suicide is accepted as unquestioned fact? Three men died who supposedly had sexual relations with our president, yet no one believes a connection can be made. Even the kid Romney hazed didn’t point to the incident as reason for his suicide yet the story was heavily reported. These arrows that the left keeps trying to shoot at Romney are not piercing the way they intend because Romney is not made from the same immoral fabric as they are. The portrayal of greed and immorality with which they keep attempting to present us is simply not landing. And now comes word that Obama and his minions may be considering another stimulus package? Seriously, just a day or two after insinuating that the stagnant economy, er….the plummeting economy is the fault of the GOP. Two years of a democrat controlled Congress with no budget, two years of a Republican controlled Congress and the democrats in the Senate have shot down any budget proposal. They now want more of our money but they refuse to tell us how it’s being spent. Attention liberals, the commanders in your ideology are stealing everything you own and you are praising them for it. Grow a spine or get the heck out of my country. End of story.

When will enough be enough? When will we stop overlooking the very things Obama has blatantly admitted in books, memoirs, and interviews so that we can use similar ammunition against Romney? Obama has flat out admitted to drug-use, bullying, and delusional thought, yet all attention has been carefully diverted from the inherent story. The man admitted to eating a dog. I mean…..you just don’t eat dog and then run the United States of America. That is NOT how they drew it up! Mitt Romney will be the next President of The United States because he actually cares about the United States. Not once, in any of his memoirs and other written nonsense has Barack Hussein Obama mentioned love of country. How can a man who has never displayed patriotism be expected to lead those who would die to do so? Mitt Romney may not have served in the military. He may not have been the best governor in the history of Massachusetts, but he did manage to work with one of the most liberal state congresses ever assembled. Throughout his life, Mitt Romney has delivered success wherever he has worked. He’s got a drive within him that Obama and his excuses simply can’t fathom. His impact on our country can’t come soon enough!

By the way, among the two celebrities on the list with a college degree…..big time republican contributor Adam Sandler. He might make ridiculously silly movies, but the guy’s not an idiot! That’s right folks, Happy Gilmore is more intelligent than Danny Ocean, Troy, Will Hunting, Gaylord Fokker, Forrest Gump, and The Material Girl. Try to contain your surprise! What? Obama always brags about his degrees yet his most ardent celebrity supporters don’t have any. Romney received simultaneous degrees in law and business from Harvard and his grades are public. It’s worthy of mention.

As always, thanks for playing!

His Cover Is Blown…..

“Anyone who doesn’t take truth seriously in small matters cannot be trusted in large ones either.”  - Albert Einstein

ObamaWeed

Trust in the media is becoming an ever more foolish investment, yet exposure to their prospectus is nearly impossible. The influence of those loyal to the dangerous ideology of liberalism is inescapable. To hear the depictions of the candidates in the 2012 Presidential Election, both forthright and subliminal, you would think that the incumbency of His Barackness is all but assured. He’s the hero. He’s the one who stepped in and rescued us from the abyss of George W. Bush, remember? He stepped in and heroically choked the life out of bin Laden’s terrorist hiney with his star spangled, bare hands. Remember? He’s the one who single handedly rescued our economy from the disaster left by his predecessor. Mitt Romney, by comparison, is portrayed as a drooling bag of idiocy whose ethics are as questionable as his right to stand in the same room with such genius as that possessed by Barack Obama. The truth, as is so often the case, lays gasping for air, battered, and bruised on the side of the trail, tossed from the moving vehicle of Obama’s campaign. Much like someone who dared to question the authority of a 1930’s style Chicago gang where Obama seems to have learned so much of his social grace.

In reality, Mitt Romney is just as intelligent as Barack Obama and he comes with the distinct advantage of being able to prove it by the very means Obama and his people have spent many years and millions of dollars to hide. See, we don’t know anything about the grades Barack Obama received at Harvard or any of the rest of his schooling. For some reason, that information has been carefully and skillfully purged from databases who always seem to have information about Republican candidates printed, and ready to ship. We know what degrees Obama earned because he tells us every chance he gets. Yet without providing proof of his own grades, the Obama campaign sees no problem with questioning Romney’s. Mitt Romney graduated from Brigham Young University with a 3.97 GPA. He then went on to earn simultaneous degrees in law and business from Harvard. That’s an amazing feat in and of itself, but when the stories of Romney’s leadership within the Harvard community are added to the mix…..it’s more impressive than anything in Obama’s shady past.

Obama and the media love to portray Romney as a greedy fat-cat who cares about nothing but money. They act as if acceptance into the circle of friends with which Romney is linked requires serious skeleton’s in the closet. Like there’s something inherently wrong with financial success. Does anyone out there think Obama would wait an entire heartbeat to accept if Romney offered all his money in exchange for the White House? The Obama family would set a trail of fire behind them as they blasted out of there with their big bags of cash. Michelle could finally be proud of her country again as she spends that greedy white-man’s money on the servants in her new tropical paradise. Again, apply logic to these insane accusations and they crumble quickly. Past friendships and relationships are the very last thing Obama should want to bring into this election but the media’s fascination with him assures that his own youthful friendships will not be closely examined. While Romney’s study group describes him as a natural leader who always demanded and personally summoned their very best during their Harvard years, Obama’s friends are known terrorists, extremists, and radical hate peddlers. While Romney abstained from the typical trappings of college life like alcohol, drugs, tobacco, and even caffeine; Obama partook in all. Mitt and Ann Romney still take time out of whatever they are doing to attend the dinner his Harvard study group still holds every few years. He even stopped in for a few hours on his way to Athens to clear the troubled Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002. All speak of Romney as a dear friend, a devoted husband and father, and a natural leader. There is no psychotic gleam in their eye. There is no “bonded through lunacy” tone in their rhetoric. In fact, it’s not rhetoric at all. Obama dismisses his relationship with Bill Ayers as something we shouldn’t worry about. Instead, we should focus on the fact that Mitt Romney’s friends are rich. As we all know…..people who knowingly try to kill others with bombs and ideology are not nearly as dangerous as those who obtain personal wealth through sound business strategy and ethical living.

His Barackness and his subordinates seem to derive great pleasure from the act of twisting the truth. Obama bashes religion with every official act his administration pushes upon us. He preaches to us as if any interpretation of scripture that doesn’t support his intentions is foolishness interpreted by fools. He dismisses religious tradition and belief as crutches of the weak. In reality, Obama’s understanding of the Bible and its infinite wisdom are just about as accurate as his interpretation of the United States Constitution. Both are horribly twisted and made to accommodate lunatic levels of liberalism. Obama dismisses our concerns over his involvement with “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright as “unwarranted and conspiratorial.” For twenty years, Obama was an active member of the blatantly racist pastor’s black liberation theology church. Yet, in 2008, when the story first came to the surface, Obama’s church was said to be “off-limits” and like the good little puppet Obama told us he was, McCain obeyed and refused to run ads telling independent voters about Obama’s Wright connection. Silence is no longer an option. If Obama and his loyal subjects can attack Mormonism, then I have a few questions about Obama’s chameleon-esque religious beliefs. As I sit here guzzling coffee and cussing at each typo I make, it is painfully obvious that I am not a Mormon. That does not mean that I would abandon my Christian beliefs in the face of fear. Romney has upheld his incredibly strict beliefs and moral code in the face of what I am sure is unyielding pressure. Obama changes his mind to suit the ever shifting winds of public opinion. His Barackness will do his best to cast a shadow of doubt over Romney’s spiritual beliefs but his own are seemingly off-limits to us, the lowly public.

Obama asks us to consider whether Romney would have had the courage to “do what {Obama} did” with regard to Usama bin Laden. My answer is yes. Not only would he have had the courage, but he would have had the knowledge to think beyond the glory-grabbing headlines. Romney would have had the courage to praise the men who carried out the mission, not the men who watched the raid unfold on TV from the safety of another continent. Romney would have praised the methods of interrogation that brought forth the critical information leading to Jihadolf’s death, even if they were controversial and approved by political adversaries. Romney would have made sure that Dr. Shakil Afridi and his entire family were safe and out of Pakistan before the raid ever took place. Romney would never have left the man that risked his own life to provide America with the undeniable DNA proof of bin Laden’s location to rot in a Pakistani jail for 33 years. Obama’s failure to plan beyond the personal glory of the raid is horrible and will most likely cost the life of a man who should be heralded as an American hero. Now that there is no political value to be wrung from the Doctor’s involvement, he’s of no use to Obama. Besides, why would Obama share the glory? His blindly loyal subjects would not approve.

No more silence. No more bowing to the pressure of Obama’s self appointed power. His past is as scary as his present and neither can be allowed to live in the White House beyond January of 2013. Get this word out to the independents. They’re notoriously out of touch. They don’t pay attention to the news until just before the election and we need to get these ideas implanted in their heads much earlier than that. Get the truth out there. No matter what Obama and the media may say, Romney is NOT the one with the questionable past. Put that idea to bed. Otherwise, we’ll be fighting an uphill battle in late October against an enemy with superior weaponry. Please share the link to this article with as many people as possible. The differences in the candidates are not the differences being portrayed in the news.

As always, thanks for playing.

He’s No Shepherd…..

“Democrats are not interested in free enterprise. They only care about free stuff.” - Herman Cain
Wolf
What is private equity? It’s a term that all the left leaning politicians seem to have received in some sort of weekly memo. They’ve been spewing the term all over the airwaves lately despite the fact that most have absolutely no clue whatsoever as to what they are saying. The level of ignorance is simply astonishing when compared to the recent disdain demanded of them by their fearless leader, His Barackness. Obama has smugly attacked Mitt Romney in recent weeks over his “questionable involvement” in private equity endeavors. It’s the same, tired rhetoric we’ve seen in the past, just dressed in different clothing. It’s the same tired rhetoric that served as a temporary distraction in the early days of the primary season, it’s just coming directly from Obama rather than from the mouths of his minions. Ask any liberal what “private equity” is and they will look at you like a dog trying to read. They have no clue, yet they know it’s bad because it has been painted as bad via every single information source they know to check. We know that such lunacy will fire up Obama’s base. Of course it will get the Occupy Wall Street types all fired up, but they’re all big bags of vinegar and water. Their opinions were formed long ago and without the aid of logic. The one’s being targeted with this mantra are the ones he believes too foolish to research, understand, or question such claims. In other words…..every, single, living, American. He views you all as sheep and himself as your shepherd.
Obama is insinuating that private equity is inherently evil. He’s attempting to paint Mitt Romney as one of those evil fat-cats that liberals love to hate so much. He’ll point to the people that were fired when Romney took over the reins at Bain. He’ll paint Romney as a greedy, heartless man who came in and fired everyone just to save a buck, but I beg of you to dig a little deeper into the story. First of all, private equity, in the most general definition I can summon, means a bunch of people putting their money together so that a targeted company can expand. They “invest” in a company they believe will return them a profit. They do this outside of the traditional stock exchanges not because they are sneaky or greedy or doing something behind the backs of those who oppose capitalism. Bain Capital, the company founded by Mitt Romney in 1984 and the central focus of Obama’s reelection campaign has aided the growth and expansion of more companies than Obama can probably name. AMC Entertainment, Brookstone, Burlington Coat Factory, Burger King, Clear Channel Communications, Domino’s Pizza, Dunkin Donuts, Guitar Center, The Sports Authority, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Sealy, Staples, Toys ‘R’ Us, Warner Music Group, The Weather Channel, and many other companies would no longer be in business or would be operating in a greatly reduced capacity without the investment capital provided by Bain. Think about the jobs those investments created. Think about the opportunity those investments have provided to the employees of those companies. Do you think the Obama loving, minimum wage satisfied, curmudgeon at Burger King in the shirt that may have fit in new employee orientation but is now stretched to its max has any idea that his job and all of those free French fries were made possible by the man Obama hopes to defeat? Such logic is exactly what allowed Obama to be elected in the first place. Such lack of logic is why polls show him in a dead heat with Romney now. Bleat bleat little sheep.
It’s not that hard to understand why Obama would come out against such notions as free enterprise. It goes against everything he and his catastrophic administration have stood for in the last four years. It goes against everything he has stood for since he was a confused child, unsure of which race to cling to. What is proving beyond difficult to understand is why Obama feels he has the right to paint Romney’s experience with a negative brush. America is hurting. Many of us are out of work, underemployed, or just generally unhappy about the financial future Obama has insured for us with his failed investments and extremist ideology. While Romney has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that he knows how to create jobs, expand markets, and guide a budget, Obama has done NONE of those things. He has done none of those things but he expects you to believe that given another four years, he’ll turn it all around. He preys on your weakness. He preys on your inability to resist his charm. Those willing to charge straight at his incongruous assertions know perfectly well that Romney’s business experience is precisely what this country’s economy needs right now.
Private equity would have prevented such lunacy as Solyndra, Ener1, A123 Systems, the Chevy Volt, ObamaCare, and while we’re at it…..Jay Cutler. Not sure how Cutler fits in but he’s popular in Chicago; Obama loves Chicago; therefore I’m against it. In all seriousness, Obama’s adherence to a failed ideology is spreading decay to parts of this country where decay has no business. If private equity is viewed as anything but evil, then Obama’s crown loses a significant amount of luster. Private equity provides an efficient, proven alternative to Obama’s ideological, government knows best, investment style. Private equity means people are thinking for themselves instead of relying on government for their opinions. Private equity means a product is conceived, designed, and presented to a scrutinizing public who, if they believe the product to be worthy of investment, will support it with their money. They will do so of their own free will and they will accept the profits or losses generated from that decision but the decision will be theirs and theirs alone. Obama’s dreams are possible, but not under his leadership. For example, we will one day drive cars that don’t require an ounce of gasoline but such innovation cannot be forced. It has to be run through the full gamut of public scrutiny.
Something tells me that Obama will realize on November 6, 2012 that he is the only sheep in a crowd of wolves. The supposed shepherd is about to realize he’s the one being herded. It’s up to you, America. Investing money is not a bad thing. It’s the very thing that has sustained America for many, many years. Investing becomes a bad thing only when it’s done with your money, behind your back. That is NOT private equity! So, are you going to be the sheep he thinks you are, or are you going to stand up as a wolf and take this country back? Are you going to follow the raised staff of the media and those loyal to His Barackness, or are you going to gather alongside the rest of the pack and attack with skilled precision?
As always, thanks for playing.

Really Loud Baby Steps…..

“It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud.”  - Proverbs 16:19

UNIFIED FRONT

Over the last several weeks I have heard the term “negative campaign” no fewer than a trillion times. Remember when “trillion” used to sound like a made-up number? I’ve heard a lot of people suggest that the negative attack ads have gone far enough. Gingrich came out and said that he lost the Florida Primary because Romney had more money to spend on negative ads. While that may be true, it clearly spells out that Obama would literally wipe the floor with Gingrich. Not in a debate. Heavens no! Obama would tuck tail and hide like a puppy in a thunderstorm if he faced Gingrich in a live debate but I do not believe that’s the direction we are headed as a country. Gingrich just doesn’t seem to be gaining the same ground that Romney is. Romney has stood by, consistently, and weathered the storm thus far and maybe that’s all we need in THIS election.

Please hear what I am saying……I am not saying that Romney has all of the answers but I do sincerely believe that he has enough of the answers that we should cast our vote his way should he be the one representing Obama’s opposition in November. In this particular election, Mormonism may actually prove to be Romney’s biggest asset if we can keep the negative ads going until Obama starts throwing his absurdly large war-chest at him. If we can get all of Romney’s dirty little secrets out in the open during the primary CliffDive cycle, there will be very little left to attack when he’s the official nominee. We all know he’s rich. We all know he made money off of things liberals hate, but he’s survived that revelation. There aren’t any skeletons in the closet of a man like Romney. Newt can’t honestly make that statement and I think we’re all well aware of it. I respect Gingrich. I would love to see him as our President someday but I don’t think we’re ready as a country just yet. We all think we are, but in reality, we’re not. We hate the swerve to the left we took back in 2008 but we can’t just jerk the wheel back to the right without tipping over and sliding over the edge of the cliff. I believe they call that “overcorrecting” or “losing.”

One thing I know for sure is that we need to deliver a crystal clear message to Barack Hussein Obama and all those who so blindly support him. This verbal garbage about not voting if “your” candidate doesn’t get the nod has got to stop. Division and stubbornness leaves us facing the very real possibility of four more years of Jon Corzine-esque decisions. Obama is out there raising millions by the day. We all know the man can run an excellent campaign, but the one factor that got him to the White House in 2008 is no longer on his side. He no longer has the facade of hope standing proudly behind him. That came crumbling down under the devastating blows of Solyndra, A123 Systems, Ener1, GM, and the economy. People who were willing to trust his left-wing nonsense four years ago will not be as adventurous this go-round. For that very reason, Romney’s cold, underwhelming features remind us that showmanship may get people excited, but it sure as hell does NOT lead a country in desperate need of leadership. In this case, future results can and should be based on prior performance. Romney was given a mission at Bain and he delivered success. You may not agree with the methods, but he delivered what he was asked to deliver. None of the glorious “hopey-changeys” that were promised to us by Barack Obama have been delivered. Despite manipulated statistics and carefully planned political maneuverings, there is no sense of morale in the streets of this country. Stone Cold Mitt Romney may be exactly what we need to calm things down in Washington a bit. Obama keeps all focus on DC with his celebrity. Every time one of Michelle Obama’s TWENTY TWO personal secretaries buys new shoes, the tabloids go nuts. (BTW: Laura Bush had one secretary, Hillary Clinton had three, Barbara Bush had one……you get the point. We pay Michelle’s staff $1,591,200 per year in salary. Fair share?) There will be NONE of that under a Romney presidency. A Romney presidency will be boring and our focus will shift back onto ourselves. A Romney presidency will get the heck out of America’s way and let us do what we do best…….kick the crap out of those who need the crap kicked out of them. Get government out of our way and let us create. It’s what we do.

Obama recently stated at a fundraising dinner in the prestigious Saint Regis (poetic license, sorry) Hotel in Washington DC that Republicans have “the wrong vision for America.” Yes, that’s right…..Obama, in front of a crowd of people who had just paid $38,500 per plate to bear witness to the bright shining light of his genius, claims that we have the wrong vision. Don’t worry folks, I’m sure $38,500 buys only a “fair share” of food but who the heck is Barack Hussein Obama to question our vision? OurForeclosureDC vision is clear. His is clouded with arrogance, blame, and failure. If the arrogance wasn’t so thick, shame and remorse would be in there too. He “rejects” campaign contributions from lobbyists; something you will hear repeatedly in coming months, but several of his top fundraisers are “individuals involved in the business of influencing government.” Have we really become that stupid?

It’s not just money that Obama’s out there raising either. He’s harvesting votes as well. This morning, in Falls Church, Virginia, Obama laid out a plan to refinance everyone’s home with no credit checks, no collateral, and no confusing paperwork,. He told tale of the time he and Michelle bought their first home and they got confused by the application. “And that’s for two, you know, trained lawyers” he laughed. Wait…..did they really put on their application that they were “trained lawyers?” Could that be fraud? Someone look into that, okay? This is just another one of Obama’s “guaranteed to fail” political stunts that he will later use to whine about the mean old Republican Congress. He really does want to pay everybody’s mortgage but the racist, greedy, corporation loving Republicans in Congress just wouldn’t approve the bill. He was only looking out for us…..you know, trying to simplify things. Republicans must hate simplicity and property ownership. Get ready for all sorts of nonsense like that. Again, I don’t see Newt surviving this style of attack. Not in THIS election.

There is a way to defeat Obama and send all of his ideology packing on November 6, 2012. It require laser-like focus of each and every American out there who is sick and tired of being told that we have the “wrong vision” for the future of our country. Romney may be the four-year bridge we need to bring another ten million or so voters back from the depths of liberalism. Get the ball rolling back toward the right, and then send in the Gingrich’s of the world. Romney will not be a step toward the cliff’s edge as opponents will have you believe. Gingrich might be. If we go ultra-conservative and have even a mention of failure in anything we do, we scare the nation right back into voting for a Pelosian Supremacy in 2016. This correction we need will take more than one term. Our focus needs to be on getting a qualified, Republican candidate into the Oval office and then we should immediately begin to focus on the 2014 Congressional Strategy. I don’t just want the White House….I want our entire government freed from the clutches of liberalism once and for all. That vision is not wrong and it will take time. We can bide that time by building, creating, advancing, and purchasing. Are you ready?

As always, thanks for playing.

“Is the President purposely using propaganda and hyperbole to garner the American public for support?”   - Sean Hannity

Yes, Sean. He absolutely is and tonight will most assuredly be more of the same. (Sorry I used a little propaganda of my own to get you here, but why should Obama have all the fun?) I know, I know….I don’t usually publish a Tuesday article but for some reason, I find myself Blond Patriot with a lot to say this morning. Mostly, I want to address several e-mails I received in response to yesterday’s article – “Who Leads You?” Several people were kind enough to point out the fact that I made mention of tonight’s State of the Union address as if it had already happened when I wrote yesterday. I do apologize for the confusion, and would like to take the time to explain my stance, if I may. Eh-hemm…….Dear Liberals, I’m smarter than you and yes I CAN see the future. In fact, here’s a few of my predictions about what you will hear and see tonight…….

- Barack Hussein Obama will take the heavily telepromted stage at about 8:00 CST tonight. That’s when the event is scheduled to begin, but theTelepromtobama “overwhelming support” and not the “overwhelming arrogance” of His Barackness will not permit his punctuality. He will make us wait a few minutes before arriving in the gauntlet of support that we’re supposed to believe is spontaneous and unexpected. He will take the stage and smile smugly throughout the unjustifiably extended applause. He’ll look slightly upward and to the right, pensively, as if absorbing all the admiration the world is directing unto his oh-so-worthy existence. He’s a gift for all of us to enjoy,  after all.

- You will hear tale of “A Blueprint for an America Built to Last” and you will be expected to believe Barack Hussein Obama is the only man capable of reading the complicated schematics and bold architectural leaps taken with said blueprint. He will talk down to us as if he’s had this brilliant plan all along. He will act as if he’s been trying to enact these steps of genius since day-one but right-wing obstacles have kept him from doing so. He will insinuate that anyone unable to see the factual logic behind his agenda is simply less intelligent than he, and should not be left in charge of anything. You will hear the word “blueprint” no fewer than a dozen times.

- You will be expected to believe that our very future depends upon giving Obama the time, power, money, and freedom to explore his Four Pillars of Brilliance:

Pillar Of Brilliance

 Translation

A Rebirth of American Manufacturing… Billions more of your dollars sunk into operations like A123 Systems, Solyndra, Small-Pox Research, and the Chevy Volt.
Expansion of Domestic Energy Production and Alternative Energy Sources… Stop asking us about Keystone XL and move on, okay? Just give us more of your money to blow through with no written budget in place. It’s what you want.
Improved Job Training and Education…. Union, union, union, union, indoctrination, indoctrination, indoctrination, drink the Kool-Aid you blind fools…..DRINK IT!!!
Return to American Values…. After you re-elect me, I’ll tell you what you values are, okay?

- For the rest of today, the Obamanites in the media will excuse any and all failures of their Benign Sovereign. You will hear such statements as “of course the Oba-Messiah is images focused on governing, but every State of the Union Address has a political component” and “it’s an election year, folks.” The sad fact is that this president has never taken the time, during his entire failed presidency, to stop campaigning. His failures are still blamed on Bush, yet facts do not support such claims. His popularity is fading as quickly as our patience and despite the smug, carefree attitude he will masterfully portray this evening…..he’s panicking! His promises have gone unfulfilled, and his investments have failed. His ideology is the stuff of daydreams and it too has failed, but tonight you will be led on a verbal journey of excitement and fairy tales. You will be led through a maze of confusing theories based in technology that’s untested, results that are unproven, and claims that are preposterous. You’ll be asked to cast your vote for a man “bold enough” to take this country to the places in his head, but you will never be told what these things cost. Obama’s State of the Union is the equivalent of calling a car dealership and asking what a specific car costs. He’ll answer the phone and convince you he’s your best friend. He’ll talk circles around you, describing the features and benefits of the car, hyping technology you didn’t ask about. Throughout the entire conversation, you never get an answer to the question you actually asked, but the salesman marks it down as a successful call because he got your name, number, and e-mail address and he’s going to keep pestering you until you come in and take a look. Just tell us how much more of our money you’re going to waste on these pipe-dreams of yours, please. Give us a fighting chance, you overly rehearsed con-man.

- You will hear the Obamanator make at least a dozen references to Mitt Romney’s tax records. The media will have also done a good job of making sure you’ve heard what SNOBthey perceive to be the relevant points of Romney’s finances and Obama will then capitalize on the water cooler talk. Obama and his minions will do everything they can to  make sure you believe that a vote for Romney is a vote against the middle-class. You will be asked to accept the fact that Romney is a wealthy, draft-dodging, job killing, fat-cat capitalist who only cares about money and getting richer. Need I remind you that Obama has received more funding and permission of influence from Wall Street than any other candidate in history? Make no mistake people, Obama will not be riding off into the sunset in one of these electric cars he keeps pushing onto the masses. He’s a greedy lawyer and he’s married to a greedy lawyer. He’s not your “brother”  and he’s not “one of us.” Romney is wealthy. That wealth was earned, carefully guarded using loopholes that allowed him to preserve his wealth, and extrapolated by more hard work, success, and determined commitment.  Obama’s war-chest is bigger and is funded by hype, fear, manipulation, and lies.

Carney- Last prediction: You will see Little Jay Carney looking startled and nervous in front of the cameras all day long today. (Seriously, am I the only one getting sick of his Macaulay Culkin-ishness??) He’ll defend the complete ineptitude of his boss, blame us for the fact that Obama has failed to achieve any of the nonsense he promised in the last State of the Union Address, and just before he scampers back to the cozy safety of Paris Hilton’s handbag, he’ll provide us with more tightly coiled gems like the one he laid on the new carpet of America this morning when he said “any State of the Union which lays out an agenda has to be ambitious. If you got through a year and you achieved everything on your list, then, well….you probably didn’t aim high enough. This president aims high.” Somebody get that little parasite a shock collar. Of course this president “aims high” you little weasel…..he’s not wasting his own money with these so called ambitions! He’s wasting mine and I demand that he stop it. No longer will the voting public fund the daydreams of this ideological lunatic.

No matter what that steaming pile of POTUS may say during his campaign speech, I mean State of the Union Address tonight, here are a few facts that you need to keep in the very front of your brain as you listen to the heavily manipulated coverage that is sure to come our way tomorrow and in days following.

1. The economy stinks and people are scared. Any success or positive trend is quickly squashed by irresponsible regulation and taxation.

2. Jobs numbers suck! January 2009 – Unemployment rate was at 7.8%. In December of 2011 – it was at 8.5% and I doubt very seriously that your “seasonally adjusted” numbers are accurate at all. You’ve given us no reason to believe that they would be. In January of 2009 there were 142,099,000 jobs available. In December of 2011 that number had shrunk to 140,790,000 jobs. Not only are there more people out of work but they are now fighting over a smaller pile of opportunity and you have the nerve to kill an endeavor like Keystone because of political reasoning. Shameful.

3. Healthcare premiums were at $12,680 per family in 2008. Remember 2008? Before ObamaCare was literally crammed down our throats? Well, now after four years of promises and facts about how “this plan” will lower premiums by 2500 to 3000%, the average premium per family is $15,073. No matter how he spins it, that’s a failure.

4. Home Values in January of 2008 were $169,900 on average. (Existing, single family homes) In December of 2011, that average value was down to $164,100 yet he continues to tell us “what America needs.”

5. In January of 2009 our National Debt was 10.6 TRILLION dollars. In December of 2011 that number had skyrocketed to 15.2 TRILLION dollars and you will most assuredly hear a demand for debt limit increases in tonight’s speech.

Folks, this “Blueprint” he’s going to lay at our feet tonight is just more foolishness. It’ll contain  a bunch of crap about technology to get the left-wing geeks all fired up but guess what……we have geeks too! We have geeks that could be funded by interested investors under a free-market system which for some reason will get NO mention tonight. Almost all of his bold dreams and visions could be seen through to fruition in economic and governmental system of his opponents. Wake up and fire this fool! I’ll be back tomorrow to gloat about all my predictions that come true during the foolishness tonight!

As always, thanks for playing!

Newt-ering the United States…..

By: J Robert Giles

“If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins.”   - Benjamin Franklin

Come on…..you don’t get to be in the public eye with a name like “Newt” and escape creative license. Recently, Newt Gingrich claimed that a vote for Ron Paul, Rick Santorum, or Rick Perry was essentially a vote for Mitt Romney. I don’t necessarily believe that. In fact, I whole-problem-solved-spay-neuter-politics-1317642100heartedly disagree with that. While I can’t personally imagine the stress involved in running for any kind of high-profile office, I’m not ready to trim the list of candidates down to two men just yet. I can certainly understand why Gingrich would want the field narrowed a bit, but I think there is a lot of good that can come from a few more weeks, if not months of competition for the former Speaker of the House. I’m ready to cast my vote for the candidate I believe will lead this country so far beyond the mistakes of the current administration that history remembers Obama as “that guy who made way for [insert candidate name here].” Whoever gets the nod will be completely vetted and his mission will be understood. That doesn’t mean that we will understand HIS mission, but rather that he will clearly understand OURS. We’re not just looking for someone who can beat Obama. While the removal of Obummer is obviously a fundamental first step, it is not the only task our next President will be asked to complete. In other words, memorable speeches, large crowds, and poll results are not going to be the only qualifications of the next President of the United States Of America.

To look at Newt’s website you would believe that Gingrich is definitely the man to lead us away from the catastrophe over which we luke_darthv1are now perilously dangling. Where the other candidates simply have an “Issues” tab at the top of their website, Gingrich has a  “Solutions” tab. If it was a CEO’s website, or a coach’s; you might think of the positive spin as a sign of hope but as it stands, on the website of a polished politician with a polished political machine cranking out his web presence, it just comes across as slightly pandering. No matter how sincere the motives behind the tab, it somehow comes across as playing on our negativity strings a little too heavily. The points that fall under the tab are fantastic ideas, but for some reason have been met with doubt until very recently. While Gingrich is surging ahead of the rest of the non-Romney-pack, I’m still not sure he has a complete grasp of what it is that he will be asked to do if he is elected to be our next leader. His mission is still too focused on the campaign and not the years after the campaign. Hey, Newt! We’ve seen what an excellent campaign can do. Obama ran an excellent campaign!

Some of Newt’s solutions include the “Optional Flat Tax Rate of 15%.” It’s an excellent idea, and one that would put so much power back into the hands of the American Federal Reserve people where it belongs. Giving people the choice to file their taxes on a single postcard, or with the current system of over-documented, over-calculated, panic inducing, tree killing bureaucracy would surely save billions in annual processing costs and time. Reforming the Federal Reserve to Promote Transparency…..I’m all for it. Newt Gingrich’s “Solutions” include the repeal of several specific laws and acts the average voter couldn’t identify with ten clues and a Sherpa. Newt plans to repeal the Sarbanes / Oxley Act. The act was written hastily as most acts seem to be. It was a knee-jerk reaction to the calamities of Enron and WorldCom but it proved to be absolutely useless against the insolvencies and accounting irregularities of Bear – Sterns, Lehman Brothers, AIG, or Merrill Lynch. Before this act, and all of the confusing regulatory measures it brought with it from the panicked womb of illustrious leaders like Paul Sarbanes (D-MD), it took a company an average of 5 years to climb from creation to initial public offering. We now stand around twelve years with a majority of companies finding safety in their continued status as “privately held.”. Many companies we all know and love today could not have been created under this act. Newt also plans to do away with the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977. This act requires banks to make loans in all communities in which they accept deposits but has instead created a bottleneck of bureaucratic red-tape and regulatory nightmares in terms of access to credit. No matter what the left may say, this act has contributed heavily to the confusion in our mortgage system as well. To that end, Newt plans to break up the cement slippers around the feet of America known as Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and let their smaller successors fight it out in the free market. Excellent idea. Newt plans to get rid of wasteful government departments, especially those departments that so often kill jobs in the name of ideology like the EPA. Newt plans, in fact, to replace the Environmental Protection Agency with the Environmental Solutions Agency. (Sounds like more government involvement to me, but it’s worth a try because it infuriates liberals.) Mr. Gingrich promotes the idea of implementing a new Energy Plan for America. Okay, now you’re veering off course, Mr. Speaker and this is why you still require the competitive accountability imposed upon you by the other candidates still in the race. Any “Energy Plan” that doesn’t call for the complete and immediate evacuation of all government hands from the free market, private and entrepreneurial expansion of our nation’s energy options is quite frankly not good enough. Keep trying.

Newt Gingrich is a horrible husband. It’s no secret. He needs to embrace it, own it, and get past it. His website and his campaign have gone too far in trying to make peopleCallista Gingrich forget about is matrimonially challenged personal history. Every page and photo contains info about Callista Gingrich’s involvement in his life. Am I the only one that sees an eerie similarity between the public, almost scripted marriage of Newt and Callista Gingrich and another business-couple running for President in 1992? He keeps trying to draw similarities between himself and Reagan, but there will never be another Reagan. Someday we might be saying “there will never be another Gingrich” if he can get past this mentality that he has to be leading the campaign in January. I’m not asking you to marry me any more than I’m asking Romney to be my spiritual advisor, Newt. Stop the negative attacks and get out there and passionately defend and deliver your messages. Get behind the ideas you supposedly believe in. Nobody has heard you make mention of the acts you plan to repeal because they might not be popular in certain demographics. Get over that crap and get your message out there. As it stands right now, you have just put a bunch of words on a website. You have listed all the benefits of the grand ideas you have for your time in office, but you have failed to list how you will get any of the ideas passed.

Ron Paul has done exactly those things. While I believe Dr. Paul is smoking the pot of his supporters on many issues, I do believe that the man Ron Paul has a passionate reasoning behind his mission. He spells out that mission quite clearly throughout his own website. As unlikely as his presidency may be, Ron Paul does lay out a very convincing timeline and plan for balancing the budget. In fact, if elected, he swears he can get it done by year three. He’s got graphs, statistics, and well organized data to support his plan. Newt has none of those things. Ron Paul vows to end the Federal Reserve if elected. I’m all for that. The Federal Reserve was created under sneaky circumstances on Christmas Eve of 1913 and has operated under the cloak of secrecy ever since. Recently, the Federal Reserve convinced Americans that the economy would never recover without unprecedented bailouts. We now know, because of the efforts of passionate men like Dr. Paul, that at the peak of the Fed’s “emergency lending” over 90% of it’s discount window loans were made to foreign banks. In fact, there were a total of 70 loans made to the Bank of Libya. When pressed about the issue, good-old Bernanke reminded Congress that they do not have the power or authority to audit the mighty Federal Reserve. Ron Paul aims to change that drastically and he has a clear, if not ill-conceived, plan to do so. He’s passionate about his stance. Where’s Newt’s passion?

Newt’s passion seems to lie only in the title of frontrunner. He’s passionate about poll results, campaign numbers, and headlines. Those things win elections, but America is already looking far beyond Election Day. Right now, Mitt Romney seems to be the only one on our side with that same mentality. When Newt gets out there and starts spreading the word about his ideas for the future instead of his association with Reagan, his disdain for Bain, and his over-the-top defense of his marriage then maybe he will surge ahead of the Mighty Mormon but for now you remain in second place. You’re not ready for a two man race to the nomination just yet and neither are we. Your mission needs the spit shine of competition, Mr. Gingrich. Embrace it, use it, give us a choice.

As always, thanks for playing!

It’s All Fun And Games Until Someone Does the Math…….

“Integrity is a bugger, it really is. Lying can get you into difficulties, but to really wind up in the crappers try telling nothing but the truth.”  - David Mitchell

It would appear that Mitt Romney is still the frontrunner. No shock there, but the attacks are ramping up with almost violent fervor as we head into the South Carolina Primary. Like I said last week, I’m not as much for Romney as I am against the manipulative, pandering ways of the left and the talking head they put in charge of this country. I’ll say it again……yes; jobs were lost at Bain Capital. Why is it though that when jobs are shed at ONE company it’s a travesty but when billions of dollars and millions of jobs are lost across an entire country, it’s “enlightened” or “visionary”? No, idiot……it’s neither of those things. You have failed conclusively and it is time for you and your heinous ideology to step aside. Your speeches have grown tiresome. Your promises have gone unfulfilled. Your record stinks. And your friends are pushing you to deliver unto them a  country that we simply won’t give away.

Day before yesterday, Barack Hussein Obama appeared courageously in the foyer of the White House with a squadron of unidentified men behind him. They were the CEO’s ofimages Insourcingcompanies that had agreed to “insource” jobs to America. Now, most of these men appeared to be the CEO’s of companies few of us give a flying fornication about. That detail, coupled with the investment record of our liberal leader leads me to believe that the men with whom he had just finished his “inspiring” meeting were the leaders of companies that further Obama’s vision of a liberal fairy tale world. They were most likely the leaders of companies that would provide some kind of components for electric cars, green energy ideas, and more bollocks that will never provide the real progress we so desperately need. The funniest part of the whole event was not the fact that he has the audacity to stand before us and claim to have a clue what is best for the country’s future. The funniest part was the wide angle shot of the room as he delivered the speech. NO ONE was there to see it. The press room was largely empty except for a confused Vice President Biden who had wandered into the room inadvertently while looking for a place to nap. I’ll spare you the details of his vague speech but suffice it to say, it consisted of more self-praise, creation of accomplishments, twisting of history, and bowing at the feet of all unions. Step aside and take your little blankey-wrapped friend with you!

All week, we’ve been hearing from not only the left, but also from those campaigns on our side which have entered the blistering flames of desperation that MItt Romney loves to fire people. I’m sure by now you’ve seen the absurdly out of context quote of him saying such. Romney’s opponents (except Ron Paul) seem to believe there’s traction for hypocrisy_meter the tires of their failure-buggies in the sands of this inaccurate and pitiful accusation. We’ve heard time and time again that “Romney destroyed the lives of so many families during his time at Bain Capital…..” but when we liberate ourselves from the mental parameters to which the media restricts us, it’s easy to see that this is a colossal manipulation. Here are the facts: Romney was asked to become CEO at Bain & Company after serving as a consultant and pulling the company from the brink of disaster. Yes, dead weight was cut. Jobs were lost and it’s sad, but the overall mission was successful. He then started a spinoff company known as Bain Capital. He raised the company from nothing to dominance in a short period of time. In comparison, Obama forced his way into a leadership role at GM and Chrysler. During that time, a net loss of 287,000 jobs has been continuously swept under the rug or countered with more confusing and manipulative figures. Chrysler is now owned by Fiat yet Obama brags about his courageous battle to save the the American Auto Industry. The bailouts cost the taxpayers $14 billion in losses which we will never recover. How is it that Obama is touted as the successful one in this comparison? Seriously…..if someone can explain it to me, I will post it in my next article.

Our government can no longer afford to base its decisions on individual family stories. We need a government led by a CEO’s mentality. Men like Mitt Romney and Ron Paul are loyal to this country, not the ideological buffoonery that we’ve endured throughout the current administration’s reign. These men are leaders. They understand that success requires pain. They understand that the overall success of this country is not going to make everyone within it’s borders happy and wealthy, but it will insure that the country is still standing for my grandkids to enjoy. We, as the people living in this country, have become too sensitive as well. We have bought into this idea that everyone deserves a big house and respect and equality but that’s just not the way to get things done. When everyone’s equal, no one’s a leader. When there is no leader, there is no direction and that’s sadly where we find ourselves today. We need to start behaving like one, big, collective CEO. No longer can we afford to give handouts to everyone who learns to milk the system. No longer can we afford to question the feelings that may be hurt in the execution of logical ideas. Yes…..all people receiving welfare checks should be required to take a supervised drug screening before funds are distributed to them, This shouldn’t even be a debate, yet there are groups out there who heavily oppose the issue. And you know what, they’re winning because we let them. Government is not the CEO in our lives, we are. It’s time to behave as if we truly believe that. We must learn to take the emotions out of our decision making and go with what seems truly right or logical. When names are added to the decisions, emotions get tossed in and then we get stuck in the land of indecisiveness and it sucks here. I want to relocate to Prosperity-Ville. I lived there when I was a kid and it was a great place.

Mitt Romney cut some dead weight at a company that survived. I truly believe that’s what we need at the head of our government today.  The American Spirit cannot beSolar Manufacturer Investigation crushed. It can only be fueled by extended periods of failure. Right now, the country is sick of political grandstanding and well written speeches. We’re ready to work. We’re ready to be free to invent, cure, invest, and advance. We simply can’t do that in the over-regulated world we have allowed to spring up around us. For example, Solyndra……the company that took $500 million of our money and is now in liquidation……they are now holding out their hands and asking us to give their executives $50,000 bonuses. No! You failed, you get no bonuses. You go work for someone who knows what they’re doing and you offer your limited expertise in whatever fashion they see fit. That’s how the real world works. You don’t always get what you want and you certainly don’t get it just because it was in a contract that should have been voided the second you accepted money from the US taxpayer.

Obama continues to talk down to Wall Street, pandering to the Occupy bunch. He continues to blast Romney as “big business” and “exactly the kind of leadership the American people don’t want.” Mr. President, we would accept almost any kind of leadership over the complete void we’ve endured in your glorious term. The fact is that Romney accepted $34,000 dollars in campaign contributions from various employees at Bain Capital. That’s not surprising, right? He founded the company and built it up. There’s bound to be a few supporters among the payroll, right? Obama accepted $76,000. Obama has accepted more money from Wall Street firms than Romney, Paul, and Santorum combined, yet he continues to promote himself as the voice of the concerned protestors.

22531_1286807806251_1111833000_862026_4536630_n Firing people is not fun. Any of you that have ever been in a position where such actions were required of you know that it’s a horrible task.Unpopular Progress Reality and survival often call for tough, unpopular decisions. When Jerry Jones purchased the Dallas Cowboys he made the decision to fire legendary head coach, Tom Landry. Landry was the only coach the Cowboys had ever had. He was an icon. His fedora cap, his suit, and his stoic expression were as much a part of the Cowboys’ identity as the Blue Star. Jones then came in and traded Herschel Walker to the Minnesota Vikings….another devastatingly unpopular decision at the time. What followed were three Super Bowl titles, a continuous flow of Hall Of Fame inductees and an eventual acceptance of the fact that the game of football had sadly caught up to legendary Coach Landry.

The kinder, gentler, more harmonious form of capitalism being offered by Obama and those GOP candidates trying to gather votes from the center doesn’t work. That kind of capitalism requires government involvement and more regulations to make sure that everybody plays nice. Free-Market capitalism is cut-throat and competitive. The strongest win, the luckiest get to witness the victory, and the weak demand the fruits of another man’s success. While it pains me to compare my childhood hero to liberalism, there is a definite comparison to be drawn. Coach Landry had what I’m sure he considered to be an innovative and successful playbook as he entered the final few seasons of his career. A 3-13 record in his final season proved that the rest of the league had finally caught up to his genius. The emotions I felt as a young fan told me that I should be angry. I should demand that this putty-faced man from Arkansas go back to the oil-fields where he belonged; he had just fired a legend. The same can be said of Obama and his campaign if his supporters would allow themselves to see the wisdom and truth behind the idea. Let go of the emotional side of your vote and cast like a CEO. Your loyalty to this man is based on emotions, most of them fed to you by the media and manipulated sound bytes. Look into your heart and vote this country back to dominance. I guarantee you that an honest inspection will not lead you to vote Obama. The hype is over. We simply can’t afford to elect a man based on skin color, empty promises, daydreams, or charm. We need someone who will step aside and let us work that magic that only Americans possess. We need someone who will cut entire programs, departments, positions, and policies; even in the face of emotional outpourings, in order to save this country.

As always, thanks for playing!

P.S. I realize many of you may think of Jerry Jones as Satan himself, but I would strongly urge you to take a look at what he has done for the bottom line of not only the Dallas Cowboys, but for the entire North Texas region. We could learn a thing or two from men like Mr. Jones, even if you don’t necessarily pull for the team he owns.

They’re Counting On the Sheep…..

“I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep, I’m afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.”

- Alexander the Great

As so many of my ideas seem to arrive in my head, so did the launching point for today’s article whilst sitting in Church yesterday. (As did the idea to toss a “whilst” at you from the opening line of said article!) Anyway, during the very well received sermon yesterday morning, Isaiah 53:6 was read……”We all, like sheep, have gone astray. Each of us has turned to his own way.” While I’m sure there have been many more clever ways of expressing the same sentiments over the years, surely none have carried more weight. They're Counting On The Sheep Their impact comes from the truth they carry. We have lost our way, but not just spiritually. Oh no, my friends…..we have a long way to go before we even reach the starting point of a spiritual journey. I’m talking about all the other paths we have chosen to follow as a country. We’re sheep. I know it’s a tired, played out analogy that radio hosts like to throw around amidst annoying sound effects and shameless plugs, but it doesn’t make it any less accurate. We are sheep. Each and every one of us.

Sheep are dumb. Sheep are happily oblivious to the fact that they are being led to slaughter. They are only concerned with following. They willingly walk to their deaths for the sake of being “part of the crowd.” Do we not do the same thing? Again I ask you, if we are not mindless sheep following the ideas and say-so of someone else, then how do you explain Ugg Boots? How do you explain theMischa Burton UGGs UGG Boots popularity of Chihuahuas? Someone popular did it, so we must also do it. It’s ingrained in us at an early age and sadly, it gets worse the older you get. Sheep are defenseless. Have you ever seen a sheep taking charge and leading the herd? They move as an amorphous blob, with no identifiable leader or direction among them. They are completely dependent upon outside influence. Again, if someone can draw a legitimate difference between the behavior of a herd of sheep and the majority of the US Population then I will gladly hear it. I’m betting anyone with enough intelligence to articulate such a thought also has enough wits to know one would be inaccurate. We follow. No matter how strong a person believes themselves to be, they are following something. There is someone ahead of you that keeps you moving in one direction. You don’t have to admit out loud, we all know it’s true. The rich follow the expense. The beautiful follow the attention. The weak follow the loud. The strong follow the challenge. We all follow something, even if that something is leading us to the slaughter. Sheep are filthy. Dogs clean themselves; birds have bird baths: cats even have the luxury of plopping down in the most inopportune spot and doing that weird, stretchy leg, butt to ankle in one swipe of the tongue thing. (Seriously, it’s creepy!) Have you ever seen a sheep bathing itself? No! Can you imagine wearing a thick, wool suit into the pool? A sheep’s hygiene really has nothing to do with this analogy, I just wanted to put that cat image in your heads. Sorry.

We’ve all been led astray. Those who deny such a claim have been led astray by their own arrogance. There is only one Shepherd’s Call to which our ears should be tuned, but unfortunately that’s just not the way He designed His flock. While living our lives, and running our country, and our homes according to the Word of God would be a terrific American Spirit way of doing things, it’s simply not possible from where we stand today. There are myriad common sense changes we must make just to clear the path to the starting line of a collective spiritual journey, but that’s not to say we don’t get out the machetes and start the revolution. That’s the general feeling I get as we open this new year. Americans are sick of the “doom and gloom” mentality. The world is not going to end this year and we’re sick of being told to prepare as if it is. The United States of America is not too far gone and the people who make up this great country are getting a good old fashioned revolutionary feeling in their bones. It has nothing to do with the horrendous political landscape before us but more to do with the overall attitudes being shoved down our throats. There seems to be a general feeling of community as we look at the months ahead. There seems to be a sense of hope and encouragement no politician could possibly deliver. This is the kind of determined will that only the people of the United States can deliver to the world. It was not a politician that brought about the industrialization of the world. The presidents overseeing the information age have had about as much to do with it as I had to do with the Miracle on Ice. The American spirit brought about the significant ages of our country and the same will hold true in our very near future. We have to take that first step. Unelecting (that’s copyrighted, by the way) our current President will be a good start, but even more important is who succeeds him. Will it be another politician stubbornly loyal to the views of his party or will it finally be another “step back and let America do what America does best” type of leader. (Yes, any kind of ‘leader’ would be an improvement!) The changes we want can only be delivered by us, and I think people are finally starting to wake up to that fact. We need to make some common sense changes, but we are the ones who will make them.

CEO salaries when compared to the average employee are running at a ratio of 320:1. depending on which source you believe. Some list it as high as 475:1 but with theJack convoluted mess we have allowed to fester in terms of pay structures and stock options and incentives…….okay, I get it! Some changes are needed but to demand a ratio of 1:1 is even more absurd. Everyone in this country is not equal.  Everyone in this country could be given the chance to contribute equally to a common goal, but such a dream is centuries away from the world we’ve built around ourselves. Common sense will tell us that CEO’s are taking advantage, in some cases, but not all of them. Do I believe that the guy smoking pot out behind the Jack In The Box up the street from my house deserves to make the same salary as the genius behind all those commercials? NO!! I do not! Changes are needed but they will not be the over-inflated, skewed changes depicted in carefully written political speeches.

Westboro-Baptist-Whackos Morality waved bye-bye to the United States about the time Paris Hilton was given a primetime TV show. Kids in California are being read stories by an active pornstar and driven to same sex wedding ceremonies during school hours because both have been deemed “teachable moments.” You know what; you’ve derailed! America is ready to take back the futures of our children from the catastrophic failure that is our Public School System. PLEASE do not read that as me saying there are no good teachers out there. There are terrific teachers in almost every school in the country. They are sincere in their mission but restrained by the greed of their unions and the system they own. There seems to be movement in the attitudes on that front as well. We’re ready to inject morality back into the lives of our kids who are learning confusing concepts well before the innocence of their youths have expired.

Free speech is a concept worth defending, but America seems ready to take it back from those who use it as a channel for their own lunacy. Yes, you have the right to say what you want, but that does not mean you get to impact the life of my children because your own beliefs are somehow more protected than my rights as a parent. That’s not what the founding fathers had in mind. I will gladly defend the idea of free speech in this country but I believe such a concept gives no shelter to men like the cowards at Westboro Baptist Church. The concept of free speech assumed that the men and women of this country would apply enough common sense to it’s use that law would not have to intervene.

This country is tired of being led to the slaughter by sadistic shepherds. Our leaders spend our money on things we don’t want. They spend our money on things that do absolutely nothing to enhance the future we hope to see. They do all this while we continue to follow one another to the slaughtering house. No more. Like a gawky, teenage boy entering puberty, our collective voices are beginning to change from the timid bleats of the lambs our leaders believe us to be into the intimidating roars of the lions we have always been. We will take back control of not only the political leadership in this country, but also the general direction in which we seem to be headed. Take control wherever you see an opportunity. Demand more from those who call themselves our ‘leaders.’ In fact, demand they refer to themselves as our ‘servants’ because that’s all they are. This idea that an elected official is better than the people they represent has come to an end. This is our year, dammit!

As always, thanks for playing!
